+, -, and / still apply. the x was replaced with * due to programming, not gaming. When writing code, letters were handled as variables. So the x had to be reassigned. # denotes a number and ^ denotes and exponent.

As far as ohmage... why should we really care? Vaping is it's own little subculture, there has been many in the past that have created there own words and even languages. That fact (at least I hope) most vapors are not running around in tin foil hats is a step up from most.
