I stared with carts for the first two weeks. Then "discovered" dripping and it was mostly bliss. I had tried some other stuff along the way (cartos, clearos, cheerios :p ) and then I got my Reo Grand and have been in vape heaven ever since. I get the full flavor of dripping and 6mls in the bottle with a big enough battery to last the whole day. Its smaller than the 100's cig box I used to cary and its about 100% hassle free without sacrificing any of the flavor. The VV Reo cant come soon enough!

For me the novelty of filling a carto and topping off and blowing out and cleaning off and bad draw and burnt taste and on and on. I'm going to buy some attys and start dripping. Sounds easier to me.

Technique, technique. Keep reading the forum posts before you spend any more $$$. You are too new to this to be jumping to conclusions.

Well I have some Boge 2.0 ohm cartos coming and I'll try the Resurrectors too so maybe it's just these cartos. Still, an atty is about $8.95 so not that big a deal.

When I got my eGo I was told by a vet to get some LR cartos and a drip tip. I've been smoke free and happy for the past month. YMMV

I currently have Smoketech dual-coil XL and have switched from the drip method to the condom method. Had them about a week and they're getting hard to draw and low on vapor. Which is a whole other thread, I know. Hopefully the Boge will perform better. And I'm going to get a drip tip too.

When all else fails try a JOYE 510 with JOYE 510 carto. See ja.

There is a rather sharp learning curve to dripping properly, and there is also a never ending supply of gadgets to make dripping easier.
But, once you get er down, there is nothing better than dripping!

Why would I want to carry around a lot of gadgets? That's the old way of vaping that was required two years ago.

Yeah, I'll probably end up with a mod eventually. Just got my eGo so I want to find the best way to use it until it dies.

The Provari or Rio Grande looks awesome so I might get one of those when I have some extra cash.

This is as good as it gets on an eGo without dripping

When I was dripping with my mini 510 I was loving the taste and vapor but having a lot of leaks. Now that I have my Riva, I find I have to add more drops each time but I'm having zero leaking problems, and 4 drops lasts me about ten good puffs. I think it takes some getting used to but all I need now is my Riva, drip tip and a bottle of juice and I'm good to go!
I don't have a car so dripping and driving isn't a problem for me. I can see how that would be dangerous and not a good option for some.

tj99959 thats an impressive set-up. What do you call that bit holding the juice? Is it a special type of tank, I've never seen one like that?

For those that have issues with cartos; have you tried boge's? I've tried just about every 510 carto available and none compare, especially at 5v. Every other carto I have tried has had wicking issues leading to burning within the first 10 minutes of filling.

Boge's are easy to fill too. No syringe or carto condoms needed. Simply pry off the rubber mouthpiece with your fingernail, and drip down the interior wall.

Boge's were my first carto over a year ago, and I've spent more than I care to admit trying to "upgrade." if you haven't yet, give em a try before giving up on cartos.

I've tried them with high expectations, because of all the raving I've heard about them, but my results have always been the same as other cartos. I never get to the point of tasting burning fiber...I simply taste the fiber material, and flavor is markedly attenuated.

I don't get the same taste with CE2s; which, at 6 Volts are too harsh and do taste of burned niquid; so I've concluded that I am tasting fiber--it has this odd sort of sucking water out of a washcloth sort of flavor about it that lasts for days on end. Don't ask me to explain it, because I'm still trying to explain it to myself (maybe I just have a heightened sense of taste); it's just that, using anything that has filler material in it has a taste there that isn't there when I use an atty, so I just go with what tastes best.

Using the insulin syringes takes away the objection of inconvenience for me (and I can do that safely while I'm driving), since it only takes half-a-second to pop one into the drip tip and push the plunger down--and it works equally-well for BE112s or 510s. Ritual-wise, it's something of a sweet spot for me, and it's not like I'm ever going to run out of 50-unit syringes.

Evidently, I'm not the only one who tastes the fiber filling:
