Do any of you remember how many times you tried quitting; before finding e cigs? I lost count after a while. It had to have been well over twenty times. Tried so many different ways.Picked up a cheap 808 cig-like at Walmart. Three days later I was off the smokes. Then found this site, because those little carts are expensive. Knew there had to be a better way :D

15 years smoking. Quit for 15 years. Started back and kept on and off for another 15 years. Smoked and vaped the last year or so. Finally tossed the pack and haven't had the urge for 6+ months. Spent about the same amount of money so far, but I think I am pretty well set up now. Provaris Radius and 2.5, Kanger SubMini, Aspire ESP, Smok 80, some others I can't remember and various tanks and juices. Purchasing has subsided a bit now.
Don't miss those cigs anymore!

In the beginning of September I hit the three year mark. This time around there was no need to reward myself. For all of you starting out: you can make the switch. Seriously, you got this. I was a one & a half - 3 PAD chain smoker for almost 20 years. For five years I chewed a can of straight up dip every day. Then there was the times I did both at the same time (gross). If I did made the switch, then anyone can :)

But as to that "...anyone can," my mom says that about the patch and gum, to me, which is just simply not true. It's different for everyone. Everyone has to find their own motivation, and their own way of getting free of the coffin nails. But I *would* agree that vaping seems to be the easiest way... It certainly has been for me, after 39 yrs of smoking and 30 yrs of trying to quit it! :thumb:

Thank you. The patches & gum never worked for me. Neither did the supplements, yard waste cigarettes, cold turkey, ect. blah & blah. I've known big time chain smokers who quit cold turkey. Guess it goes back to that old saying if you want to quit you'll quit. It's just finding what works. I am glad to see you found something that works for you, AndriaD :)
