I haven't seen a thread like this that's current (though I'm sure there's one somewhere on ECF, along with the Ark of the Covenant an the Holy Grail.), so I thought I'd go ahead and start one and see if it took off.

It'd be nice to have a place for those of us that abhor overspending. Those that would prefer to get a $30 clone to a $200 original, and find the idea of dollar a ml juice absurd. mod elitist need not apply, because we don't care how much your shiny tube cost. Ours works just as well and we've still got money in our pockets.

PLEASE do not use this thread to start battles. If the title does not apply to you move on down the road. There are hundreds of other threads on ECF that are just for you.

Nope. Still awaiting my sentinel mod from ft. I did buy aw imr 1600 mah in the states though. The only thing I wouldnt look for a bargain on is batteries. I think everything in my collection has come from fasttech except for my provari and my two egos I bought when my provari drowned and I had to have it serviced. There is a deals and steals thread around here somewhere. Also there are fasttech and 101vape threads. I wouldnt spend the amount of money some people will. I am a machinist and any fasttech item that doesnt fit my needs I will just fix. I have already got a silver conductor pen to put on the button and positive pin on the sentinel should there be a really big voltage drop. Vape on

Man, I wish I had access to high quality machinist tools to do some serious modifications. Also, the training and skill to use them. LoL.

I used to be the same about batteries, but I've been using eFests for months now and honestly can't tell the difference between them and AWs.

Thank you for helping me get this thread off the ground, patrao_n!

If you really want to go cheap, you can just get a 510 with carts. That was one of my first ecigs. They work pretty good, but the batteries don't last long so you'll need a bunch of them. I used to get 30ml bottles of juice from Nhaler and one bottle would last me at least 2-3 weeks. Compared to the cost of analogs, that's just pennies a day!

that's awesome....most of us don't have that option (not a slight). I'm always up for a deal tho, but I'm not a DIY'er.

Hehe. I'm thrifty, but a 510 ain't gonna cut it for me anymore. It barely did 3 years ago. First kit was a single 510 battery, two attys, and a PCC.

Indeed...you think he has some "Ding-Ding" for when BATTERY is being typed in the forum? (I wonder if it just 'dinged' there)

now I've learned a lot of new abbreviations (and I hate those) since I started vaping, but PCC is one I don't know yet....what's a PCC?

Personal Charging Case. They're pretty much dead now, but back in the day when stick batteries were the only option they were all the rage. Basically it's a case with a built in battery for your 510/901/808 that charged your batteries.

It's hard being thrifty if you are not inclined or have the free time to rebuild coils , or DIY juices and such.

I bought my expensive tube mod used.
I try to buy my expendables in bulk to get a discount.
I buy quality, but not overpriced quality. This seems most prevalent with carto tanks. I can't see the real useful difference between. 25 dollar Pyrex tank and an 85 dollar one. And if I can find a decent one for 15, all the better.

Batteries are something I won't skimp on. Really, for 2 bucks difference a battery, I am going for the best. I figure I will have a better experience from that investment.
