Throat Hit

Does anyone know why some juices with a high VG content have better throat hit? A perfect example is Ecopure which is 100% VG, and at 15mg has a better TH than many PG liquids.

Welcome , but maybe they put in some sort of additive , to enhance the TH . Just guessing .

Thanks Renz, but Ecopure has just 4 ingredients - VG, Nic, ethyl maltol and I assume some sweetener. I am thinking the throat hit might come from high vapor density. The juice is thin for vg and might have added water to increase the vapor.

HI Exchaner, I've seen lots of comments on here regarding the difference between PG and VG, many agreeing with your take. I am happy using the red oak line from Johnson Creek, which is pure VG. All of the other PG/VG blends I've tried, which is only a few, have been pretty dissappointing vaporwise.

I used to use the cignot ecopure juices and it had great throat hit. They then changed something and it wasnt as good. Dont know if they changed an ingredient but i agree i can feel a difference.

Ethyl Maltol is used as a sweetener or alone to produce a "cotton candy" flavour. Do they only offer cotton candy flavour?

It's a nice TH at only 15mg, no irritation at all like when they add hot pepper to the juice.

Unfortunately Ecopure is no longer is offered in the US.

I guess like taste that sometimes TH can also be somewhat subjective. I get a great TH from 18 nic at 6-7 watts.

Here is the best 100% VG eliquid....Can be had from 0-36mg.........I use the UNFLAVORED @ 30mg...Good TH thats smooth....

Im trying your suggestion and learned there is a coupon "ecf20" plus for some reason it was free shipping. I got 125 ml unflavored at 24 mg nic. My flavorings are VAping Zone Super Concentrate Gourmet at 4% or so. They recommend 1% but I like strong. I've always wondered about this line. Thanks for Posting. Can't have too much back juice I suppose. DIY is so much cheaper in the long run

I have tried Vapor Renu Cinnamon Hot Tamale with aggressive TH and it is VERY good. It is EXACTLY like the candy. I have to use pyrex delivery devices with it because of the flavor. It crumbled an EVOD. It is true PG + Nic = TH, although adding some alcohol can improve TH.
