Seriously, I’ve been acutely aware how difficult it must be on all of you answering us newbies’ dumb questions. I try searching first but sometimes one even forgets to search first. I think it is perfectly acceptable for you just to link to a topic if it has been addressed before. But even that can require more work on your part.

Just one point in defense of us newbies. The only area that we can initiate a new topic in is the General Discussion Area. That makes that forum overwhelming to read thru. For instance, I wanted to post a new question as a new topic. I knew it belonged under Tips & Tricks but I’m not allowed to post a new topic there.

I think when Smokey_Joe reorganizes the board it will work better for you and us - hopefully. In the meantime,

THANK YOU ALL. WE REALLY DO APPRECIATE YOUR HELP

prime rule number one.. dont insult or attack the group.. the herd mentality will come into play and it will defend itself.. he he he

overly so it seems.. time to let the matter drop i recon.. forums are a pass time as well as an information gathering source.. there will be newer newbies a plenty to ask the same old questions and newer older newbies to answer em.. it all rolls on..

consensus opinion ends up ruling the day and be aware of tooo much fanboyism or brand loyalty.. errr.. the words janty and kissbox spring to mind..

Cindy - if you did anything wrong that is between you and your priest :D

Maybe I am a bit moralistic in the morning <shrug> I am just saying, lead by example. Do unto others and all that good stuff.

I had really funny things to say when I sat down here. But I have been interrupted so much the only thing left in me is a head ache. (Thats cause Cindy was leading by example)

I received a Yeti starter kit from The Smoke Safe last Saturday (high nicotine, ordered Thursday) along with flavor juice pak from Juicy Liquid, began using it as soon as batts charged, and haven't had an analog since... I immediately and completely ended a 54-year 2-pack-a-day smoking habit with ecigs and your valuable tips and encouraging words! And the pleasure I get from vaping is more than equal to smoking because no more cigarette odor on me, my clothes, my hair, my car, my house; no more trying to cover up tiny burn holes in all my favorite clothes; no more ashes everywhere like the residue of fallout from some small volcano constantly erupting in my vicinity; no more searching for lighters or matches and then singeing off my eyebrows when I finally use the burner on the stove to light up; no more cleaning the black tarry gunk off ashtrays while trying to ignore the fact that my lungs look the same; no more guilt that I'm compromising the health of all living things within 1000 yards of me when I light up; no more ducking into alleys or around buildings or behind barriers or into the furthest corners of backyards in all kinds of weather just to have a few puffs in a place that won't offend anyone; NO MORE ANALOGS!!! My non-smoking friends and family, including my 96-yr-old mother, are celebrating my switch to vaping, assuring me there's no odor and no reason for me not to use it in their homes and cars, and have all tried it to see what it's like (with no ill effects). For years, I've been slow to wake up in the mornings, more than a little groggy until I'd been up a few hours. Since Wednesday, I've been waking up early, immediately wide awake, feeling like getting up and being active... not running a marathon, just moving around, starting my day, totally unusual for me. I seem to be sleeping harder, fewer dreams, not waking up during the night at all. I can't say for sure that it's due to giving up analogs for vaping but that's the only thing that I've changed in my life so I have to suspect that's the cause. I plan to continue vaping; it's pleasurable and relaxing, easy to do, affordable, and I have no urge at all to return to smoking analogs. Thanks to all of you for your help. The online forums are so valuable to those of us new to vaping.
