I could do it, no problem. After a terrible marriage and divorce, I downsized from a 6500 sq ft 3 story house to a 420 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment, and that's WITH a (now) 17 year old son and a half-time (now)14 year old!

Such a relief! The bills dropped like a ROCK, the housework is easy and fast, I have a fabulous time making it all work, be comfortable and seriously frugally-stylish. I also was able to get completely out of debt and stopped using all credit cards.

Since I was a kid, I have always said I could live in a coffin as long as it had enough shelf space, but now with my laptop, e-reader and PV, I don't even need shelves!

Most of my friends with bigger places still end up dropping in on me for coffee because its light, quiet, airy, and pretty here. ;-)

You can do it! Getting out of debt is like losing a hundred extra pounds... really! (And credit cards are bad bad bad.)

I have been paying as much extra on it as I can....I am getting real close I transferred the balance to another card with one of the no interest special offers.....that sure helped!!

My DH doesn't have one and neither does DD. They don't want them, me I have one and always will. I like to know it's there just in case of a major emergency!

I do love my debit card though.

I use mine on the internet.....do not want to use my debit card there. Don't want to go through the hassle of getting a pre-paid visa card.

I'm at hour thirty now! vaping my 0 nic peach juice like CRAZY, and it's helping. A lot.

The only time I miss a credit card it for internet purchases. Luckily more and more, here in Canada, more online stores can accept payment by Interac email transfer. Quick and easy.

Has anyone checked out the book from Apartment Therapy called 'The Big Book Of Small Cool Spaces'. It's absolutely inspirational.
