Tiny RC helicopter (video I made)

thats cool, tiny heli's are a lot of fun to fool around with I've enjoyed 'em for quite some time. I used to have a very tiny helicopter I got from ThinkGeek.com and I told my dad about it, who is very into R/C helicopters, boats, planes and such. So he ordered me a battery powered indoor r/c helicopter that is good for beginners called the Llama V3.

It's fun to fly around, I made the video when I upgraded the two motors in it, I have also upgraded the blades and the tail to flexible style tail so it doesn't break if there is a crash landing and the blades are tougher so they also don't crack at impact. Very fun but need quite a bit of room and tweaking around with it to get it to hover correctly. I've got it down now but didn't quite have it in the video.

Druid, It's an E-Flite Blade MCX S300.
Camel, I have a similar version of the Llama. I just got it yesterday. It's the Esky Hunter. Pretty much based on the Llama IV mechanics. I've only flown that one once and I'm getting ready to fly it right now. I'll make a video of it after I get used to how it works. These little things are actually a downgrade for me. I've been flying gas powered helis for years. These are more fun though because if they crash they usually don't have any damage at all since they are so light.

That looks like great fun Houdini---Can you fly that outside as well? Where did you get it and how much does it cost---thanks in advance--Sun
This one you can't fly outside unless there is NO wind at all. It's so small the slightest breeze will blow it away. I got it from airlandhobbies.com. $125.

yeah I wanted a gas one but last visit to my parents my dad was telling me how even his large R/C's are electric, although he still has some gas ones. I remember as a kid he had just finished doing repairs on one of his heli's and he went into our backyard, took off and almost immediately the thing flew right into the house, where he swore a bit picked it up and went back to repairing it, pretty much the fun in having them I think.

I need to look into getting one that can fly outside. I have taken my Llama V3 outside a couple times but there can't be any wind. I was flying it decided to see how high up I could get it. Got it up above the two story building next door and once it cleared the roof a draft hit it, the propellers hit and it was all over and down it came. Luckily the only replacements I needed was another tail and some blades. That's why I decided to go for the more durable.

Cool to see someone here is into these little guys to.

Here's my fleet.

Druid, if you get an E-sky or E-Flight they pretty much fly themselves right out of the box. I've crashed the MCX dozens of times just being careless and havn't had to replace a single part yet.
