We went to dinner with non-smoker friends last night. We were seated next to the front window, group of 7, no one really looking at us. I blew a big puff at my friend so she could "smell" the non-smell, and no one even noticed. :)

We have a Disney trip coming up in October...can't WAIT to sit in the room and on the patio and vape away! I'm sure discretion will be required in the parks to avoid nonsense, but I don't plan to hang in any smoking areas...especially during Food and Wine!

Disney only allows vaping in smoking areas,,,,,,,,however, I doubt you'd have a problem vaping anywhere but the lines/queues.

I have been told by employees that if they catch you vaping in line, they will take the PV away from you,,,,,

we go all the time, and frankly, I just use the smoking areas,,,,,it's not worth the hassle to me.

I had a smoker ask me the other day if I had drugs in it.... had another one yesterday ask me about another drug....

I had a nonsmoker try to convince me to quit and go back to analogs.... and turned around and complained about the way a smoker was holding his analog.... then he complained about the smell of the group of vapers and how it all together reminded him on skittles and cotton candy.... not sure how, one had mango and tobacco, I had pineapple, chocolate and tobacco and another just had tobacco.... then he went on to complain about something someone was eating.... some people just have to be heard and will complain instead of being constructive....

Positive reactions were mostly from smokers who know about vaping but either eent back to smoking or haven't felt the need to quit or to vape.... mainly your general stuff, does it help with the cravings, costs, how long does dtuff last, where can you get it, etc....

Vaping seems to be booming in my area. No one seems to bat an eye anymore. I am careful in public places - such as grocery stores or restaraunts - to not blow plumes, but even when it is noticed, there are no negative comments.

The bars in my area are not non smoking so no problems there. However, bar & grill type places and bar areas in restaraunts are non smoking. If I sit at the bar in one of these places I make sure to ask the bartender if it is ok before I take a single puff. I have yet to be told no. For the most part I get a "duh" look as they tell me "Of course that's ok. You are not smoking."

One time I was having lunch with my family and I had just taken a pull from my pv and just as I was carefully exhaling, the waitress reached for my tea glass and her arm took the full blast of the vapor. I covered my mouth and appologized. She laughed, smelled her sleeve and said, "That's ok! It smells wonderful!" LOL

Oh.... it wasnt towards me and I didnt witness it but I heard one of my vaping buddies got confronted and yelled at pretty bad for vaping outside but under a pavillion that a handful of smokers and vapers use the outer edges of rather than going out from under it completely.... no one else was targeted or yelled out or given any attention.... I suspect he had it coming and it wasnt exactly the fact he was vaping and was the only one around vaping at the time but it gave her a reason to yell at him....

Wife's cousin won't let her boyfriend vape inside because his juice has nicotine in it....
Some people just can't be educated or re-educated and others just need something to complain about or need a reason to yell at someone....

It's a good thing I have a good sense of humor, because I get some pretty vulgar, descriptive assumptions about it. Plus it helps that we've all had a couple brews :p

Yeah, that doesn't hurt! But I have felt sometimes that it's nice to have my vamo with me, in case I do get into some situation where I'd have to defend myself. :)

Mostly I get the "hey, does that thing really work?" So I give them a short spiel that yes, it really works and I've been cig-free for XX months. Smokers seem distrustful but curious. Non-smokers have been mostly supportive, except for the really judgey ones :/

Fun story. I don't golf, but I was at the golf course last weekend helping out with an event there. Had my trusty eVic with me. There was a man there with a pack of Marlboro lights and we got to talking about the merits of vaping. I did my usual spiel and pointed him to a smoke shop in town.

About twenty minutes later I saw him doing his damndest to light a cigarette - it was an extremely windy day - and he was literally bent double over his lighter. I didn't say anything, but took a casual hit off my PV as I walked past. We made momentary eye contact. I think we might have another recruit…

He's no true smoker then. I can light an analog in the worst hurricane with a match...lol

You learn those things when you live around the Gulf of Mexico for a while.
