Titanium wire

I'm by no means new to vaping, but I am new to this site (reasons unknown haha). I read in depth on a thread involving titanium wire from E Smokeguru and there were several mentions of welding NR-R-NR wires.
Is this necessary in order to use titanium wires? Or like tradition Kanthal or Nichrome, can I simply wrap my coil and go?

So if I'm using titanium as my coil, I do not need to weld more wire in? I can use it as is?

Welding is not necessary, watch video starting at the 3:40 mark. People do weld nickel to titanium for their coil builds, but that's just another option.

Master of Clouds sells some Titanium that is ready to vape that's pretty good. I use Ti grade 1 on my TC but wouldn't vape it outside of TC.

Master of clouds I have used out of TC. It's a Alloy T4 Titanium.


Resistance: 5.9 Ohms/ft at room temperature Composition:
- Ti 74.0%
- Ni 22.0%
- Fe 02.0%
- Si 01.0%
- C 00.1%
- Other 00.9%
