To all you Japanese cotton users, do you pick out the black seeds/hulls?

Not entirely sure what to call them, but yeah. Have my first order of organic cotton coming from the Land of the Rising Sun and I know it frequently contains those tiny black bits. So i'm curious, do you leave them in or pick them out? I imagine it's safe to inhale, though i'm always a little skeptical of situations like this. May just pick them out out because of OCD orz

Koh Gen Do was my favorite cotton before rayon won me over. I could see tiny dots/specks in the cotton, but I never tried to remove them. What I liked was the compressed sheets and the fibers that appeared to all run in the same direction. A properly juiced wick prevents anything from burning if the wattage is proportionate to the wick being used.

Been using Koh Gen Do for several years and have never picked out the seeds.

I'm almost half way through a box of Rayon Cellucotton from Sally's. Love the vape and the way the Rayon wicks stay clean. I still have a pack of Koh Gen Do sheets in the closet, but haven't wicked with it for 2 or 3 years.

Koh Gen Do was the best cotton I'd ever used.

It is definitely the easiest to work with and I like using it. Egyptian cotton is great but a pure pita to prep, I only use it when I am bored to tears. I did break down and use rayon in one of my Nanos; I am using an alien in it was getting some spitting.

No Way. I totally Leave them In.

I try to trim the Cotton so I can have a Few of those Black Bits inside the Coil. Then center them in between the Coil Spacing. Some of My Best Hitting Coils have been like this.

I've though about Saving the Black Bits from the Cut-Off Cotton pieces. Then Sprinkling them onto a Less Speckled wick.

But maybe that is Going Too Far?

Would you save some for me, I would like to try sprinkling them on and placing them in my Ready-X-Wick?

Hey No Problem CMD-Ky.

When I get a couple hundred Extra Bits, I'll put them in a Teeny Tiny Zip-Lock Bag and send them to you.

The Shipping on them should be Next to Nothing.
