To much air from my Cartomizer

I started using cartomizers today. These are SR Boge 510. I used the condom method, and added a few drops to the top. There isnt much vapor at all. Its like im smoking a light cigarette. The filling is nice and wet, there isnt any crackling. I thought it might be the juice but used it on an atomizer and it creates nice vapor and tastes like it should. Tried this both on my 3.7v bombshell and a new ego battery. Same thing.

DOA cartomizer or Does it just need to be broken in?

What kind of juice are you using? High PG and you don't get a lot of vapor but you should get flavor. But if it's OK when you drip it's probably not the juice.

I prefer the boge 2.0 but do use the SR sometimes and it's usually better than what you're describing. Maybe it is a bad carto. That happens. Can you try another carto? I know, you probably hate to waste the juice.

Yes, but even with a 3.0 you should get more than what he's describing.

You are getting some vapor though? So it doesn't seem like it's a connection issue. Sometimes the connection on the carto needs to be pulled down a tiny bit if it isn't making a good connection with the battery.

You need crackling. I'm guessing either DOA carto, or possibly you are not getting a good contact between battery and carto, especially since the attys are working. The guys will be around to tell you how to pry the end of the carto out a tad. I've never had to do it.

Hi Joe, with your 3,7v bombshell and a 3ohm carto you are only getting 4.5 watts-that isn't much power (the formula is- 3.7x3.7 divided by your 3ohm of resistance = 4.56). I'd imagine what you are experiencing is about all you're gonna get with those cartos @ that voltage.

I just get a tiny screwdriver or a big pin and pull it down a bit.

If you look at your carto from the side, the center inside the black ring should protrude a tiny bit- they shouldn't be flush.

What kind of an ego battery is it? I always had to adjust the carto or battery with the Mad Vapes batteries.

With VV, you should be able to get a better vape with the SR cartos. You can crank up the Voltage to your vaping preference.

there are so many things to look at really.
what I would do:
* did i over fill it? - blow it out
* did i put enuff in it?? just cuz it looks wet doesn't mean it's soaked, I put the carto in the palms of my hands and give it a good spin, move my hands back and forth like trying to warm them up
* is your battery good and charged- try another (if u can)
* direct dripping can not be duplicated with carto's IMO
* some carto's have adjustable screws on the bottom, do you have a tight fit , battery to carto?? you can adjust it if you dont want that much air flow, just turn it a lil bit and give it a test draw.
try another carto filling it using another method, my fave just take the caps off the top and squirt into the filling but not in the middle that can flood it.
different carto's take different amounts. a reg (SIZE) one can hold about 20-30 drops, I have little hands lolol, my drops may not be as big as others.
