Just so you know, I've been doing plenty of research about making my own juice. Its when I read mixed reviews that I come here to see what others are doing. What the hell did I say that gave you a bad vibe?? Like I'm going to add too much nicotine and kill myself? Thank you but I am smarter than that. I thought this was a place I could come to get advice and ask questions but rather it is a place for ppl to tell me I haven't done my homework and to come back after I read more. I appreciate your help, honestly I do.
Hey friend I'm just tryin to help you out but it sounds like you got it under control so knock yourself out. What give me a bad vibe was you asking about pure nicotine as well as asking questions that are all over this forum and have been answer time and time again. There is a search feature at the top. But hey sounds like you got it figured out. I meant no ill will, honest, but evidently you took my post way way way out of context. Good luck to you in your search for the perfect Vape!
I did not say I have it under control. I've been reading and researching for 2 weeks now trying to learn as much as I can and you know what? I haven't placed an order yet because I'm not completely confident. I read stuff everywhere about various DIY topics, and some of it can be confusing and overwhelming so I feel like I might get a better answer to my question if I ask the forum.
As far as the nicotine goes, I thought that having nicotine mixed in with something else would make it more difficult to mix and get exact ratios so yes, I inquired about purchasing straight nicotine to make things easier for a newb like myself. Thankfully, someone answered my post and told me how he mixes his vg/nic and then it was no longer confusing to me.
I'm certainly not diving head first into anything. I've been taking the last 2 weeks to learn as much as I can and will probly take another week.

I must be the only one on earth who has doesn't get any improvement from steeping tobaccos with heat. No matter how long a steep at what temp, I still have to let my tobaccos sit for a two week minimum before I see any improvement. For me, shaking till eternity is much more effective than heat. Don't know what is wrong with me. Is there anyone with a similar experience?
I have tried everything - crockpot, thermos at 150 overnight. The only thing I haven't tried is the ultrasonic. Part of my problem is the type of tobacco I use and the high vg content - 80% with 4% DW.How hot and how long are you steeping them.
I average 4 - 5 hours in 150f water and let sit a day and there ready to go.
