ADDED:
Well looks like this thread also had two sides of the fence, those that tried it and liked it and those that suggested that they should not. I suppose you should read and draw your own conclusion. I personally have tried them for a week and like the different tobacco flavor without any ill effect. I suppose this will be a mute point when seedman.com switches to PG over natural glycolene. Until then I will continue to use it as is. But to reiterate the glycolene they are using is NOT pesticide.
Dan

its probably glycerin (aka glycerol, glycerine...) and they aren't up on the nomenclature.. just better to be safe than.. bahh I bore myself

think I'll order some

Well, I wrote seedman this morning. I got this response in an email. I am not being negative here. I really want this to work. Just getting all the facts first. Here is their response:

Dear Sandy,

Our flavoring is for applying to dried tobacco for flavoring, it is
not intended for any other purpose, we do not intend it for E-cigs or
anything else.

The glycolene we have been using is natural glycolene ( vegetable
glycerine ), not the harmful industrial application, this probably
should have been listed better on our site. It happens we are
switching all of our flavorings over to propylene glycol blend this
month as the propylene glycol actually gives a better shelf life and
seems to apply more evenly. All flavors now being shipped use the
propylene glycol blend.

We still do not market our flavoring for E-cigs, we have not tested
our product for this use and do not intend to, our only interest is
in serving our home gardeners who grow their own tobacco.

I am glad that you found this source in the US.
I was contemplating a china supplier.
I have absolutely fallen in love with wet your stick's cuba cigar, and am trying to figure out how to mix it myself, do you have any ideas?
I am also considering trying to find it in bulk from china.
Man i hate doing business with china. But sometimes you can't help it.

Wet your what?

Ummm I have never tried, so attempting to advise you would be dificult. I have searched and found no one in the U.S. that has that flavor in stock. Sry looks lke you have to deal with china.

Ok so it is VG in mine, and they are now shipping it with a PG base. Even better. I like the tobacco flavors and I think others will is why I posted. Thanks for emailing them, I got the same speech as as every other flavor companys I contacted, this is not recommended for ecigs yady yady...
So I see no problems with using what I have or what others order from here.
Thanks again!

Safe natural Glycolene? No such thing that I can find. The only thing I found is not safe but from what I found would probably have you in the hospital after a day of vaping so I doubt that is what it is.

I also don't like how the reps are saying two different thing and screwing up the names.

Pass...

Nestran

I agree, I found nothing either. I am glad they are switching to PG base!
Sucks for people allergic to PG though.

Hi guys and gals,

I have my second PV on the way, sadly the first one didn't quite make it and was lost to the FDA in a seizure :(
In preparation for the big day I'd like to order some of the Seedman brew but I'm having trouble with the checkout, it keeps coming up zero, is there some kind of code I should be entering in the box to the left?

On the topnote page Tobacco Flavorings for Home Grown Tobacco enter the quantity you want, then "add to cart". Click proceed to checkout, then Login or create a new account. Click your shoping cart and enter your address (new account), then select ship here. Then pay via paypal or credit card.
Worked for me. For the coupon code use FirstOrder.

smonomo,
Could you please elaborate? We've heard of large import shipments to suppliers being seized but not small packages within the US or personal imports.

While this is a bit off topic, I think it a subject we are all concerned about.

Scubadan,
Do you think this stuff would give a virginia flue flavor to the TOB506?
TOB500 VIRGINIA FIRE CURED ENHANCER
Smoothes tobacco flavor and lends a fire cured flavor to all tobacco types.

It says it's a tobacco enhancer, not a top note.

I am wondering if this stuff is also in PG solution and safe for vaping.

Several of the flavors outside the "Top Note" classification sound like they would be interesting assuming they don't contain lipids or sugars which of course would clog our atomizers.

Has anyone tried any of them?

BTW: I think it a good thing that their flavorings are not in any way marketed as being for vaping. If we do face a ban, its companies like this who will be our new best friends;-)
