Scubadan,
Do you think this stuff would give a virginia flue flavor to the TOB506?
TOB500 VIRGINIA FIRE CURED ENHANCER
Smoothes tobacco flavor and lends a fire cured flavor to all tobacco types.

It says it's a tobacco enhancer, not a top note.

I am wondering if this stuff is also in PG solution and safe for vaping.

Good question I might have to try some of the enhancers and see!

Several of the flavors outside the "Top Note" classification sound like they would be interesting assuming they don't contain lipids or sugars which of course would clog our atomizers.

Has anyone tried any of them?

BTW: I think it a good thing that their flavorings are not in any way marketed as being for vaping. If we do face a ban, its companies like this who will be our new best friends;-)

Agreed sionce they are moving to PG I think they will be indeed. Out of the 6 I ordered only Honey and Mango do not have coloring in them, English is the next lightest in color and CPT Black and Commercial being the darkest, but not really "dark" as I can see through them. I have used about a half a bottle of commercial so far mixing up tobacco (Malboro flavors) and a light base for Menthol. Wonderful.

If anyone has recieved them and tried them I would like to know your thoughts and how you like them. Honey is still my favorite!

agreed that it's splitting hairs here, but any idea what the "aromatic and natural" flavoring is?

would be nice to find a strong tobacco flavor to DIY at home.

Nope, that is like asking a chef what ingredient they used :) But I wonder if they would provide a MSDS sheet... It should have the breakdown of ingredients.

Your mom said not to say...
Ok I got my order straightened out, thanks for finding and posting this, I was hoping to find something along these lines. I know the big brands have their secret mixes that are worth millions of dollars that they won't just let slip out for anyone to use although that would be nice.

My guess on the aromatic MIGHT be Tobacco Key Accord. And I have a bottle of that. One drop is SERIOUSLY overpowering I had to take a skewer stick, dip it in the TBA, drip off the excess and swirl it in a GALLON of mix I had, which seemed to work perfectly. But I tell ya, be careful, that stuff is way powerful.

again, not trying to protest the great find here, but has anyone requested more information on the ingredients yet?

i mean, i think this is less paranoia than vaping candy flavoring and such, since this stuff literally is meant to be used on tobacco and later burned and smoked, but i personally would like to know a bit more before diving in.

yes, i could ask myself :) but just wondering if anyone else asked further questions yet.

Nope I have found nothing further on the flavoring used. Just so you know your not talking to your self :)

I used .5ml of the seedman flavor to 9.5ml of 12mg nic juice that was comprised of 20% VG and 80% PG nic juice.

Hi Scuba,
I got my stuff from seedman yesterday. I tried making a 1ml tester sample late last night that came out a little strong. I used your calculator :).
As I was only making a 1ml batch the recipe only called for just 2 drops of TOB506 which I thought was a bit light. Soooo... I added another drop. I also added a drop of Cocoa (TOB503). I ended up adding a couple drops of VG to tone it down. It tasted pretty good after that with lots of vapor. I will play with it some more today.
Thanks for your find + that calculator you made (tremendous help:D).

I ordered the Vanilla, Honey, and English but didnt really find any of them that worthwhile. They honey was almost "flowery" smelling and tasting and the English kinda tasted like Lorann's Fruit Punch. The Vanilla wasn't bad, but I had to mix it in at 10% just to get any noticeable flavor.

One decent mix I made was:

5ml 40mg PG based unflavored
1ml VG
1ml Vanilla Tobacco flavoring
3 drops Lorann's Cherry

It has a good cherry flavor with a lingering vanilla taste. Not too bad.

I plan on continuing to experiment but my initial reaction is kinda blah. Everyone has a different preference for flavors though, so this shouldn't be taken as a vote not to at least give a few of the flavors a try.

Testing has begun!

90% 48mg unflavored juice
10% "Commercial" Flavoring

Results: A sweetish "generic" tobaccoish flavor. Reminds me of "Tobacco High" that comes in the prefilled carts.

Not impressive but not offensive. I could vape this as-is.

I'm going to try each of the five flavors I purchased in this same 9:1 ratio using the same unflavored juice and will report my results.

I will then work with altering the ratios as well as attempting some blends.

I am confident that I will no longer be purchasing any pre-mixed flavors in the tobacco range of flavors.

Thank you Dan!

I have found that if you use 10 drops of the tobacco absolute + Vodka mix to it with the seedman flavor it compliments it very nicely. Right now I am vaping the Honey only and base, I love the flavor. It is interesting as .5ml or 5% of 10ml is what I use for flavor and it is perfect to me. I just love the honey flavor. I guess not all tastebuds are the same.

Dan,

Thanks for posting this info. It was exactly what I've been looking for and it will allow me to mix the flavors I really want. I have tried the Virginia and the Commercial with good results. With some tweaking I will be where I want to be.

I have tried the candy flavors and don't think I could use them on a regular basis. My favorite premixed juice is Virginia. I have been looking for a way to reproduce it.

Thanks again,

Kevin
