I always wondered about these commercials now. Notice when they show the insurance quotes they say that they are 'tobacco free'.

I wonder how these kind of companies will look at ecigs in the future. Maybe the future commercials will say 'nicotine free' instead of 'tobacco free'

I've often wondered if my Doc still lists me as smoking or not....

Yeah i have been wondering if I should call my insurance agent to get my plan lowered since I do not smoke anymore!

I called my insurance company and explained that I was on a nicotine replacement therapy and wondered when i would qualify for the non-smoking rates.

I was told to call after 6 months and they would send a nurse to draw blood and they would notify me if I qualify. Somehow, I doubt I will qualify... again the almighty dollar...

as long as you have nicotine in your system you are classified a smoker even if you get your nicotine by some other means then smoking....

Thats what I thought. And I know thats what they will try.

But, Ive been reading my policy fine print and it specifically states "...without tobacco use for a consecutive 6 month period..." so I think I see an appeal in my future
