I do not like any of the naked 100 it tastes so awful, i thought it being kinda expensive I'd like it, but nooo yuck !
Halo's Prime 15 is really grrrr8 tobacco I love it, its my favorite & its almost clear w/6 mg nicotine, i was impressed I got 25 10ml/bottles for $10.00 from Halocig this past week !

When I first started vaping Prime 15 was a favorite of mine. I have since started doing DIY and really feel 555-Gold INW is used in Prime 15, the taste is very similar. I even wonder if the 15 is some sort of correlation to 555. Things that make you go hmmmm....

A very good tobacco flavor I have come across recently in the DIY realm is FlavourArts' flavor called Resolve. After a 7-10 day steep it comes across as a slight cigar flavor and has a finish I liken to a freshly opened pack of cigarettes. This flavor won FlavourArt's Make the Switch recipe contest and is basically a one shot of sorts. Another flavor that made top honors in the contest was Focus. It's good, and has a slight menthol effect going on. Out of the two Resolve is my favorite right now. I am still steeping Focus so it may get better.
Was the recipe published publicly before they made it into a one-shot?

Patriot is perfumy? Huh. Never tasted perfumy to me at all. To my taste buds, it's about the closest thing to actual tobacco you can find. To each their own.
Its in my Trading-Bin. Hope I have better luck with my River Flavors  Otherwise what will I Burn with all my cool looking MODs & Tanks.

I have looked for it and I am not certain. There is a video that Wayne from DIYorDIE talks about the Make the Switch contest and he does discuss some of the recipes, however, none of them make mention about Focus FA or Resolve FA. If you look on FlavourArts site there is mention of the contest but still no mention of these flavors. Even a Google search brings up very little info. There was a discussion on reddit about them but it's basically people discussing these two flavors (one shots) being the winners of the Make the Switch contest.

I could not even find into on what percentage to start with, so I did both at 6% and the flavor comes through nicely after about 7 to 9 days.

Thanks, If I remember the contest correctly, it was devised for pods, and the flavor percentages were very high for the (preliminary!?) winners. I'm not sure if one of them was Reserve. The other "new" tobacco flavor they have is called "Focus".

I was hoping to mix with the flavors I have I hand, but I'll just buy both I suppose.

I haven't gotten that brave to diy, & probably will never,
I'm not as patient as u folks with the diy, I'm an impatient person,
so much I scare myself sometimes how impatient I am as I've gotten older,
my younger years I was a multi-tasker & it's gone !!
But I'd like to try some one day a good cooling menthol/tobacco !!

I was the same way. If you told me two years ago that I would solely be doing DIY now I would never have believed you. Due to the possibility of the government putting a hard hand on vaping becoming more of a reality now, one bit of advice I'd give is to at least store some nicotine away in your freezer. You just never know.

Or take this time when there still is a supply to titrate down to 0 nic. If done very very slowly it's not that hard to do.

If I get to 0 (zero) one day then I most likely will not be vaping, it's the nicotine I'm vaping for, I've gone from 24-now 6nic. In 4 yrs. It helps my nerves when I'm stressed-out about this world we are in right now, & I've been vaping more it seems since this covid-19 mess & over Trump & Congress !

Thanks Skeebo, I'm trying to trace 555 & Prime 15 through River Supply Found 555-Gold INW. Who knows where this quest will lead. There are so many variations of any one gd flavor, its crazy

Hoping to use whatever I have too. Looking for recipes to use as Guides that you could substitute flavors the mixer likes?
What you think?

Thanks for posting this list of recipes.. I never got any peanut butter from Prime 15 as that particular recipe suggest. Then again everyone tastes things differently. When I use to vape Prime 15 I would sometimes get a very subtle, slight hint of cocoa/chocolate...

Prime 15 was a favorite and I probably vaped more of it than any other retail juice I vaped. It simply never got old.

I would TFA Pina Colada substitute for Peanut Butter
But I'm concerned over what these chemicals are:
Ethyl Maltol 2%
Acetyl Pyrazine 2 drops per 10ml ?
Ethyl Maltol is cotton candy, straight up. It's used as a booster or additive mostly, almost like a sweetener but not really, smoothes out sharp notes, adds texture and mouthfeel. Frequently used with fruit mixes, too much can actually mute other flavors.
Acetyl Pyrazine is also an additive, most frequently used in bakery flavors in small %, also tobacco flavors at a little higher %, it lends a baked bread crust flavor to things, but if you use too much it will taste like corn chips. I use it in donut recipes at 0.25% or less to give that dark fried outer crust flavor.
