It that case, you'll probably like the Speed Revolution rda, single coil, 1 mm air hole, no other options. Not sure if it comes with both bf and non-bf pins, it has the bf pin installed.

I just took a look at my Origen Little rda, I am using a single hole even though the coil is set like the pictures I posted earlier.

Got it...

Definitely better than the "side saddle" 2.5mm ID coil I had in there... 12W-12.5W and it's working a lot better.

So I jumped on the spaced coil train today, 28g kanthal ID 2.5, 6/7 wrap reading at 1.14. I overwrapped and pulled a few out then stretched the wire slightly on the mandral, came out nicely spaced I think. First thing I noticed was I had to kick my wattage up substantially from what I was using with the contact coil. Seems to be vaping well.

Unless it's a PT2 head or a CLR head, my coils are spaced (as am I sometimes )

I just wrap, allowing for the space, and try to even it out before I mount the coil. Install, wick, and then take a fine-headed screwdriver to tweak the spacing. For my RDAs and RTAs, this seems to work well.

I've read over on the other Forum of folks having the Merlin with not a problem to be found, and others (like me) with nothing but problems with it leaking and leaving juice all over our mods. Quality Control is all that is, I think.

I have the first Merlin, bought one, it was so wonky that I was sent a replacement. Here is the problem I have with it: If you get the wicking right, it is a great tank, but not the MTL tank I was looking for. It is way too airy, even with the under the coil air restrictor, the same problem I have with the Merlin mini. I even tried my "hillbilly" airflow restrictor in it, it works but still... a MTL tank should at the very least give you the option of a restricted draw -> the Hussar seems to have done right with the optional 1.3 mm center tube.

Start with a 1 mm (or 1.5 mm) rod, make a coil about 1/4 inch long. Wind another coil on top of it....and so on until it fits snugly in the air tube under the coil, make sure you leave a little end or lip for the time you want to remove it.
