all this talk about clockwise and counter clockwise turning...why don't you just flip the coil upside down to get your legs going the same direction as your screws?

(assuming that's why we care about which way we turn...coffee hasn't kicked in yet and brain isn't working too well.)

If you flip coil, then the leads are exiting from the top of it... exponentially increases difficulty on a KF where the screws are level with the surfaces you don't want the coil touching.

All this talk of building has me totally lost, I have done a lot of rbas in my time but I don't have rdas/rtas like a lot seem to have on here!

I can relate.

You see people bragging "my rda will kick out more clouds than yours with less wattage." & it's like dude grow up!
I hear that all the time with my son's vaping friends. I usually ask how the flavor is with those clouds and am usually met with a blank stare. Because of those cloud blowers though I got 2 Serpent Mini's. Those tanks didn't blow big enough clouds for them. :D

There's nothing quite as satisfying as sitting inside a doctor's office (or wherever), vaping away at 11 or less, and NOBODY even knows you're doing it.

I prefer my clouds to be high in the sky, TYVM. Nothing wrong with them - they're just not for me. Flavor, baby (round-the-clock-with-all-things-life in that regard).

I like flavors.

I'm left-handed, so I hold the mandrel in my right and wrap counter-clockwise (anti-clockwise for my Brit and Aussie and NZ friends ;) ) Works great for most of my toppers - especially my Serpent Minis. However, to trap the leads properly under the screws of my KFs, I have to wrap right-handed (or clockwise) for the legs to be in the proper spots to wrap around the screws. My velocity-style decks - irrelevant - they can handle either direction of wrap, so I do what's most comfortable to me.
I'm left handed and I do the opposite. Hold with left and wrap with right. ( goes back to all those right handed scissors and can openers):)

IMHO, building RBAs is building RTAs or RDAs. You control the quality!

I'm working AND getting paid to play on the forum. The joys of having to call helpdesks and being on hold for hours.

it's really quite funny. I told our customer to call the helpdesk, and they could fix it for him remotely, because that's what I was going to do. nope, he insisted I do it.

so he's paying a 110.00 trip charge, and 77.50 an hour for me to sit in my truck and be on hold....
