Hey tootlers. I bought a nautilus 2 ($15!). I love the .7 coil so far. It's probably too strong for many of you here I like a powerful mtl vape.

I won't get into any kind of review unless someone wants some views on the n2 vs kabuki with the same coils. Etc. I have a nautilus 2. Triton mini. And two kabuki tanks. So I can offer some insight but perhaps I need more time and I need my pack of coils to arrive so I can put the exact same coil and juice in three different tanks with the same power.

My gut reaction is the kabuki makes a warmer vape. The nautilus 2 is actually slightly more flavorful than the kabuki and has better air flow. The triton mini is the best tank in usage (real top fill)

Anyway. It's. A lot better than I was expecting but calling the n2 a top fill tank is very much pushing it. It may as well be bottom fill. They would have made more room for
juice that way.

Why yes.. I'd be interested.. the N2 vs kabuki...
The kabuki is a the one mtl tank I'm doing ok with... right now.
I'm not trying to buy another kabuki. I bought a clone once but my coil always got stuck to the chimney.. not to mention my kabuki is p3 threaded so it's bound to one mod.

Anyway I have looked at the n2 many times wondering....

Alright ! My coils should be here soon and I'll do a full compare of the .7 when that happens. In the mean time I'll do a compare of the v1 1.8 coils in both tanks. Give me a day or two and I'll get some thoughts together.

Fwiw I have two kabuki. A 510 (which needed to be fixed because the design of the bottom pin was flawed) and the p3. I put a larger diameter grub screw in the base for a much more solid 510 connection. So he 510 works as well as the p3. I noticed hoh abandoned the original 510 design and now has a clunky adapter. It's a shame. All he had to do was use a better center pin screw.

My initial thoughts on the n2 is that it's slightly coooer vape at the same power level and of course adjusting airflow is easier. The kabuki allows more air than the n2 so if you use the kabuki wide open you. May find the n2 a little restrictive. Filling the n2 is a pain imo. The kabuki is very simple to fill. If you go over the threading on top of the coil in the n2 you cause flooding. So it's really more like a 1.8 ml tank than a 2ml tank. I'll measure with a syringe to get that exact.

Do you use the stock kabuki drip tip?

Here is the n2 on the gun metal mega volt. Very nice small
Combination. Forgive the dog hair my baby is shedding and I was playing with her all afternoon. :)

I think the n2 matches up very very well and with the liPo battery and he power levels we use for these coils it's all day battery life. Certainly be refilling the n2 well before the battery runs out.

And here is is on the silver mega volt.

Looks like it overhangs but it's actually exactly level. That's shadowing.

For we of the tootle puff preference I really can't say enough good things about the mega volt.

Inexpensive . Built like a tank. Very long battery life thanks to the custom liPo. No button rattle. Zip charging (2.1 amp) means it takes half an hour to charge. Tiny.

I just don't see with the cubis how some people like it. I've tried at least 10 different coils and they all end up gurgling and spitting at me like crazy! But maybe that's how some people like to vape...

This is one of those tank systems that if you get the filling right they work flawlessly. I qualify that by saying I rewick with rayon because I don't like the cotton factory coils

The Triton mini is my favourite tank and will be for time to come I should imagine, an good thing is they are tpd compliant an I will still be able to buy them after 19th May :D

And @VapeLuvr after reading through all my threads I saw that dreadful drip tip but I would be anxious to try it :p

Which coils do you prefer in he triton mini ? The triton mini coils were very unfairly bashed. People ranted about how awful they were compared to the Bvc coils without realizing they are Bvc coils. Just various resistance and material.

fyiThe new 1.8 coils are not the same as the original 1.8 coils. They've improved them. Bigger wick holes and what seems like a different wick material. Here is an image of the old 1.8 coil (left) next to the 1.8 which came with the nautilus 2 tank (right) you can see the difference in wick hole size without even breaking out the calipers. Also the distance from the threading to the kneeling is different (I think the coils are slightly taller inside but that's conjecture at present.

@Ladiekali, watch this video (I've set it to begin at 12:45) and it will show you how to put the Nauti coil in a Kabuki, Vika Fantasy, Nautilus 2, etc. without ever getting a coil stuck again:

That trick works. I haven't had a stuck coil since I first saw that video

HaHa, if I was that close to a mugger, I guarantee you that my vape would not be what's fill'in my hand at that point in time.;)
If I happened to have my brass Coppervape in my hand at the time, I'm pretty sure it would be the only weapon needed. My EHPro New Yorker would probably also make a fine weapon. People talk about what certain mods hit like, well the brass CV would hit like a ton of bricks.
Any of my other mods? Yeah, I'd be reaching for something else too.

Nice comparison.. I'm not too concerned with how much liquid a tank holds.

My kabuki I change the mouth piece frequently.. some high end drip tips and some very low end. I like a clean mouth piece.

I have my kabuki set on a very tight draw. Which I prefer for mtl.

I'm still getting a grip on mtl Vaping. What I do know is I need two of every tank. One for clearer juices. One for dark. I switch between fruit and vanilla through out the day. I need to for some dumb reason.

Variety is the spice of life. I do the same thing. I vape using 3mg-6mg like I chained smoked. I have lots of flavors in my daily rotation. I need the variety to keep me interested or I would burn out on only one or two ejuices. So, no not dumb at all. And I am sure I am not the only one who does this.

Nothing dumb about that at all. I have one juice I start the day with for the first couple of hours. Then 2-4 difference for during the day. Depends on the day and how much I am out. After dinner I change to different setups and juices and that is when I do my testing. Usually another five different juices depending. I have 6 different tanks with the same juice in them right now for testing.
