The Lemo V1 large O-rings came in. They fit in the channels perfectly, BUT, I really, really, had to work to get the chimney and top piece connected. It's sitting here with half a tank. A tank-cracker juice would be dangerous and having to take it apart to clean on a regular basis won't work well and I can't think of a good way to shave them thinner.
Onwards on the journey.
Gotta say been pretty damn good weather here too, I might take my guitar to the park for a bit of peace an inspiration later on. Such a quiet park, and it can get noisy in my areaIt's a few minutes before 9 am here,I was only 4 pages behind when I logged on and now I'm all caught up. It's 24c/75f a beautiful sunny day.Gonna get some banking done, clean the sparkplugs on the lawnmower and rototiller, and rototill the veggie garden.Maybe even get the rainbarrels set up.
Happily vaping some 8 track tobacco juice and on my third coffee.
Lil inspiration for ya:Gotta say been pretty damn good weather here too, I might take my guitar to the park for a bit of peace an inspiration later on. Such a quiet park, and it can get noisy in my area![]()
Nautilus coil devices (Kabuki, Vika, Nautilus, Nautilus 2, Plato). Some of those are smaller than her requirement of 3ml min though.OK Tootlers, Atcha is looking for suggestions. She wants to leave her "bcc outdated tanks" behind. Suggestions on the table right now are the STM and the Ego One Mega V2...ooops, sorry, eggroll.
Her only stated criteria is 3ml min, but I would assume similar airflow is important. My impression from vaping on hers a few times is that the eggroll should be a good replacement. Any other thoughts, suggestions, opinions?

I did not notice button rattle on mine, and tge gaposis is a feature, not a bug ;-]Sigelei mini book arrived yesterday. For $15 I'm happy with it, don't think would have been happy if it had cost more than that. Hand feel is good, pretty comfy to fire from any position. I like the size of it, longer and thinner than my picos, boxy on one side and rounded on the other. The silicone sleeve was a nice bonus. Downside is it has terrible button rattle and a big case of gap-osis. It will get used anyway, I can live with those, I guess.![]()
How do they compare to, say, the Nautilus Mini? That tank is way too tight even wide open compared to the bcc tanks she currently uses.Nautilus coil devices (Kabuki, Vika, Nautilus, Nautilus 2, Plato). Some of those are smaller than her requirement of 3ml min though.
Here is @Two_Bears blog.. he has several blog entries about it.Speaking of tanks - and I'm sure this has been answered a thousand times but who has time to comb through this thread - how do you make the KF shorty tanks? Anyone have parts links handy? The hubs is a little disenchanted with the KF v3.
He did buy me a shiny yesterday though, a fancy one, so if he wants a new tank I will make that happen... pics soon![]()
The Nautilus coil itself may be too tight for her. The Ego One coils are much more loose in my experience. How do they compare to, say, the Nautilus Mini? That tank is way too tight even wide open compared to the bcc tanks she currently uses.

Honestly, for the price of these devices buy one each and whatever she doesn't like sell in the classies. Then she has a more broad experience to know what she does and does not like. How do they compare to, say, the Nautilus Mini? Yeah, it's been awhile since I used one but I think the Ego One is similar which is why I'm recommending that one, and with the CLR heads even if she doesn't want to build she can always rewick easily enough. The Nautilus coil itself may be too tight for her. The Ego One coils are much more loose in my experience.
My interpretation of what she wants is something that will basically vape the same way she is used to, with at least 3ml capacity, and basically easy no muss no fuss. Once she picks something she likes, it'll probably replace all her bcc tanks just like the CF4 has replaced all of her Vamos.Triton Mini - still uses the same coils as the Nauti. Better airflow, IMO. Eggrolls are good, and the coils heads are easy to rebuild. The CLRs that is. I got some iSub V tanks and iSub APEX tanks. They have a lot of airflow, but I'm running one with a 2.0Ω coil, and it's pretty darn nice.
Just depends on what she wants....
