That'd be perfect! Are you also the type of person that doesn't eat pizza crust? Because I'll take that too!

Pizza crust is just plain, not good. And Cold Pizza, like my wife eats all the time, is NASTY !!

They always talk about fanning the end of the wick in tutorials. Making it more fluffy. I'm just wondering if that's always true for wicking
Some people even thin their wick ends by cutting some of it off in the middle

Yep. Fluffy wick works SO much better than compressed wick.

So to be clear... i fluff my wick ends but i trim them too - starting at the outside of the coil to a gradual point.. not drastic in most cases.. then i fan that out.. my point earlier was about not wanting to compress the wick inside the coil really.

You want it to be in there so it wouldn't accidentally move but not so tight it would disfigure the coil pulling it through and you dont want to compress the cotton before by rolling it or anything. That's where it's different than rayon.

I have found trimming the ends to be the right move on some devices and others don't require it.. it just depends on the tank. For the stm I wouldn't bother trimming the tails, for the gem I do. IT depends where the wick ends up imo.

So that's why I saw folks calling you "chels" at times. It all falls into place now. Yes, I'm a bit slow (special) as they say, but given time, I will reach the finish line.

I don't blame you at all for being confused!
