I've never broken a glass tank, and though I ordered some bands, I kind of hate them and don't use them (maybe if they were more elegant?). I'm not a dropper, though. The one time I knocked over a mod+tank onto the floor, it happened to be with a Nautilus Mini with a stainless steel sleeve, so no problem (... except the magnetic cover for the batteries on the mod fell off, the battery flew out, and the casing was torn in the process).

HOWEVER, a lot of the Kayfun Mini 3 clones I have came with a stainless steel tank (as well as glass) and I do use several of those in that SS configuration. Still haven't dropped/knocked over any of them yet, but I kind of like the feeling of invulnerability. Sort of like being a superhero. of vaping! okay!

Hopefully you didn't jinx yourself! I had never broken any phone screen before today! Maybe I should change all my tanks that have SS options!

I guess I'm having screen trouble today. Suddenly my Hana Modz one screen is blank, but it still fires. I'm confused!

Try holding the fire button and down button together for five seconds .It might be in stealth mode.

I was the "victim" of instant karma today. I was rushing to the post office trying to get in line before this other lady and I dropped my phone. It's obviously still usable but the whole bottom right screen is a web of cracks :( I guess I deserved it but I'm extremely disappointed

If it wasn't for bad luck?
On the vape band thing, I use them. They have to be matchy matchy though. Well, everything has to be matchy matchy or I get twitchy.

I can't believe how much I am letting this ruin my day! You'd think I'd be over it by now, but I'm totally holding a grudge against myself for being in such a rush. The 5 minutes I saved by being rude, wasn't worth an iPhone!!!! Argggg!!!!
At least the Hana is working now, but I'd rather have it the other way as the Hana only cost me $20

Anyone have any ideas as to why I'm not tasting juice as much as I used to? Old juices that used to be very flavorful to me, I can hardly taste (so I can't blame it on a newly mixed max vg juice). I've changed coils and tried several different tanks. I figured I've been vaping long enough that it's not vapers tongue....thoughts?

Anyone can get it, not a N00B thing. Clean your pallet. Heard lots of different ways, but never had a problem myself, so can't really help. Search the forum, lots of threads on it. :)

Don't really know but the liquids I started out buying and mixing taste terrible to me now. Dumped a whole pile of stuff down the drain to reclaim the bottles for new mixes.

An iPhone? Which one? Replacing screens is cheap & easy-ish up until 6. If you can rebuild coils you can do that.

Have you started a course of medication or worked with any chemical (household bleach) etc. You can absorb various chemicals that impact your taste. Bleach or bleach products are notorious for changing your taste.

The other thing is you may be eating or drinking something that negates your flavour. google the flavour wheel and see if you are using anything on the opposite side of the wheel to your eliquid flavour.

Thanks, I'll check out the flavor wheel!

Get a new screen from this ebay shop because they have all the bezels glued in place. You can also by the screen with the camera & speakers pre-attached which makes things a bit easier if you want. (DO NOT buy from fasttech!!!!)
gokrazywireless on eBay

Also, I strongly recommend buying this tool:
LCD Screen Opening Plier Cell Phone Repair Tools W/ Suction Cup fr iPhone 6 Plus | eBay

Instructions:
iPhone 5 Display Assembly Replacement

If it's too scary, there are tons of places here in the Bay Area that will do it for less than $100

Thanks, I appreciate that. That helped improve my mood as I'm not in the place where I can buy a new phone right now

No problem. You seem to be very methodical and someone who will carefully follow instructions so this would be very easy for you. Make sure you run through the instructions once or twice to get a feel for what to expect. Also, gather a bunch of magnets (I use refrigerator magnets) to keep the screws and little tiny metal parts together. The screws are super tiny and can easily fly very far across a room when dropped.

Excellent idea with the magnets! Even though it's actually a 6, I think I'll go ahead and try it. I really appreciate the help! Now that I've learned my lesson the hard way (anyone remember the pico snafu?), I read all directions very thoroughly!
