How "detailed" do you get in cleaning your tanks? Do you just throw it in or take it apart as much as possible before cleaning? I'm interested in yours and others' replies on how they clean their tanks....Forgot to mention that I do provari and current tank clean up with alcohol every Sunday although I rarely see any gunk but I do it anyway.
@DPLongo22 I guess this base is dead but I have 20 other tanks in my stash![]()

Doesn't the water ruin the coil? I've never washed a coil and had it vape right afterwards. Most manufacturers state coils should not be submerged (maybe they want people not to wash them so they get more money for coils). You don't notice bad effects from doing this ?

Cool water is better at removing "aromas" than warm, in my experience. Even a final cool rinse after a hot bath is good. (Good for US, too.)
Also, some tanks (ahemcoughEGGIEScoughahem) have terrible finishes that are more damage susceptible when washed in super hot water.

Hmmm, will have to try that if it comes up again. It did take a few good scrubs in hot soapy water, which surprised me since there was no "plastic" in that particular tank, other than the post insulator...
Then again, your "super hot" may be boiling to me. Touch is subjective![]()
When I rewick/rebuild I take everything apart and throw it in a strainer, rinse with water, dry and go from there. How "detailed" do you get in cleaning your tanks?
