Met a gentleman who helped our afternoon boat cruise set out - he was a VAPER!!!!!!!!!!! Had a Pico and Melo III Said he hasn't had a smoke since Christmas when he got his kit from his son (who's been vaping for another year.) However, was concerned when he said he hadn't replaced the coil  Didn't have time to discuss more - we were setting out...... A real vaper in the wild, though - I don't see them much 'round these parts!

Very interested to hear your thoughts, once you feel like doing so. GREAT color!

I like it very much, Bea, and in fact I have two Freds. There are some minor issues with it tho, and tho they're not a big deal, it's good to be aware of them upfront. Both the battery cover and the 510 are, ummm, odd. The batt cover has a little pull tab, which can be tricky to actually hang on to. Also the threads, and primarily on the red one, are very thin and take some time to work themselves in, making the cap a little hard to open/close. I found the way to do it after a very short time, and now it's a piece of cake. The top 510 has two holes that allow for tightening/loosening/cleaning. Odd, but really no big deal.

Echoing DPL, in the price range, and if you like it, and if it were one or the other, I'd JUMP on Jackie OH! The two mods are worlds apart, but run along the same money stream. The build (form and function) on the Jac is tres suite, and miles above the Fred. Sorry, no red Jackies. :)

OMG you guys. I just read the Jackie O thread and was complelled to open and account and put one in the cart. In the cold light of the day I ask myself do I really need another mod. Lucky I have 4 days to decide before the discounts appear. :p

I got Vape Mail today, too! Got the 2 EHPro KFL+ V2 in Blue...that @englishmick posted about at Sublime Vapor. They're absolutely gorgeous! Already have 1 apart, and have the base, the drip tip, and a transparent flat-top bell cap, dry fit together to check it out as a KFL "shorty". I'm gonna like it on a Dragon 2.5 Provari!

easiest RTA to build for older people with arthritis and bad eyesight?

grandparent-in-laws are getting tired of buying coils.

For the Nebula Wine, but they leak like heck and I don't think are available any longer. The Doggy is very close though - pretty easy....

i have a wine with a bunch of spare glass I might give them...forgot about that.

I was thinking about an RDTA or "genesis" type. those have a bigger deck and seem easier to build (to me at least).

I'll probably end up getting them a coil master and one of those magnifying glass/third hand combo thingies.

ETA: they're using protanks and the vape shop they go to informed them that they won't have coils for them any longer. they won't buy anything online or go to a different vape shop, so they tried out the gs airs they have and liked them, but the cotton didn't last as long as the protank coils.

The Sirens are that type but they're diabolical to deal with (nice vape, PITA to keep dry). It might be worth the Doggy clone, which is similar to that style, but very easy to build and keep dry. The price is right too ;-)

I'd be LOST without my magnifiers and Coilmaster doohickey thing.

You could probably buy them a lifetime supply of pt coils on ft for a couple hundred I bet.
