between here and there
Hello
I've got kind of an issue:
i received the wrong kayfun ghost refill,
View attachment 667571
they sent me the nano,
so what happens now,(even when using the original kfl metal ring) is that the chimney protrudes a-bit above the top-caps o-ring.
so i guess I'll need a shorter chimney if i want to use this kit.
i was thinking of this one:
View attachment 667573
since i have never dealt with nano kayfuns and parts,
i was wondering what would be the difference(vaping wise),between using a regular and a short chimney.
and will this fit the original kfl Chimney base?(I'll be using only the upper part)
(also are you aware of a better nano chimney than this one or just a bit longer, bot shorter than the original one?)
Thanks.
FT does off just the chimney tops if that will help?

I bought a few internal battery mods as backups for some of my backups and I read in "Battery University" that the best way to store batteries is at 32F (0C). That of course refers to straight batteries.

Do you all store your internal bat mods that way too. If not how?

no the difference between 0 and 25c is not worth putting in freezer imo. It's clearly more important to store the batteries only half full.

Tootle Tank Talk- I'm on the hunt for something rebuildable, low profile like the kompact kayfuns or doggy but with a glass tank. Small capacity is ok, 22mm preferred but slightly smaller wouldn't be a deal breaker.

I will be ordering more doggys and kompact kfs but I need something to run my cinnamon and citrus profiles through. Anyone have any suggestions?

This tiny tank looks interesting...
Origen tiny tank!!!!

To give you all an idea of how much I love this new Jac... I set my hubby up with my beloved Radius, which hasn't otherwise left my hand since I got it.

That's VERY nice of you, but might you not want it back at some point? Nice mods as I understand it.

I'm down to two, both Innokin, and am using them daily until the batteries die. I know this isn't much help but I grew tired of babysitting the internal ones, and jettisoned them all... :|

Just too much choice, tanks coming out all the time
Same reason I get overloaded in IKEA, too many choices.

I can get it back whenever I want it ;) In the meantime I can use it to score good wifey points.

I keep everything in rotation. Stored at 3.6-3.8v when not in use. Room temperature.

I should add that i didnt mean to imply that you should not store your batteries in a freezer. You probably should if you know for sure you arent going to touch them for at least 6 months. If you have one of those vacuum seal system things, that would probably be the best thing to put them in.

I have the following...

Evod 1000 VV
iStick Basic
SV MiOne
eGo ONE Mini
eGo ONE VT
iStick 10
iStick 20
iStick 30
eGrip 30
iStick 40
MiniVolt
Just gave away my iStick 50 to my BiL
Nugget 50
Movkin Luggy 69
KBox 70
Coolfire IV TC 100
Tesla Nano 100 TC

They are all stored on the shelf with the rest of the mods at whatever charge they had when I last used 'em. I've only had two die... a Target Mini (battery failure), and a Tesla Stealth 40 (juicy board).

I will not be buying anymore internal battery mods...

To paraphrase Arnaud Amalric "Buy 'em all, and let God sort 'em out."

My issue is that there's no real innovation. Everything coming out feels like a tweaked clone of the last thing to hit the market... either that, or it's something completely outta left field...

And not enough focus on quality. Annoying.
Totally agreed!

The thing I like about the basic is the magnetic connector that allows me to use any atomizer of appropriate dimension... I've got a Kayfun Mini 2ES in the Basic. The GS is OK, but it's a coil based tank... I no longer use tanks with drop in coils... it's RTA (or RBA) all the way!

Personally both for me :)
If my nerves are okay I build, although...
My mate works at local vape shop an doesn't mind building for me if I'm a little shaky so I've no excuse now!
