@Uncle - Isn't that 100% cotton though, and not rayon? My hairdresser pulled out about 20 feet of some of that from a large box she had...and gave it to me, when I asked if she could spare a small amount for me to try it. But, it's cotton...isn't it?

Correct - Could have been, I always suggested to use the 100% Cotton . . .

100% RAYON . . . 100% COTTON

mTNkNwP.gif

AND - Both are very absorbent and can "hold" liquid very well, especially since they were made specifically to prevent liquids/chemicals from dripping down onto someone's face . . .

Also - From the Sally's website:

Use a Graham Professional Cellu Cotton Beauty Coil as a headband for perms and tints or as a puff for facials and manicures. Naturally soft rayon fibers are blended into a fluffy, absorbent coil.

BTW: Besides the "Quote" - Don't ask "Me" how I know - but after 30+ years using the "Stuff", I just do . . . ;)

Also, I hope everyone knows that the exact same materials are used in a number of applications too, including medical (which is how the "Stuff" came about) and very personal uses for many people (Especially women) . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Go to Sally's Beauty Supply (or any Beauty Supply open to the public) they also carry small bags of Rayon Cotton (10ft) - which is usually enough to wrap around a head a few times) . . . Here is a link to the one available @ Sally's for $1.99:

Or even go to a beauty salon in your area for that matter and just ask if they have a small amount they will let Ya' have (most places will, especially if you use their services or explain why Ya' want it). . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)
Fine print says 100% pure cotton on that bag. Anyway, I went to Sally's yesterday and they didn't have it in small bags. Also, they were selling the 3 lb box for $45 (although in retrospect I may have misread the tag on the shelf - I hope so)

They're both Tootle Puffers, and definitely plan to stay TPers...so I like the 3-6V and 3-15W ranges of the ones I narrowed it down to. I'll check out the SVD2 also though.

I mentioned all-in-ones to them before and neither were wild about them, so the Endura is most probably out. But thanks for the suggestion. I know many people really like them.
The endura isn't an all in one, I used to use a nautilus mini on it & it was regulated at 14 watts which is what I vape the nautilus at anyway.
Also what about the ego twist??

sharing my experience with the nautilus bvc coils:
for my first time i bought them from a shop in France, and they had this writing on the back:
View attachment 668195
and they where just great,
a great taste from the beginning,
so great i asked my self why should i bother rebuild my RTA.
so i went to FASTTECH to buy them cheaper and got them in the box with the scratch code and all,
but the writing on the back was like this:
View attachment 668197
i tired them and the taste was very bad, especially at the beginning,(very bitter)
after a while it got better obviously but far from what i have experienced with the previous one.
it was such a bad experience that i just stopped using my vika fantasy.
last week for some reasons i had to use the vika, and i put the first coil i mentioned(the one from France)
and i was surprised from the great taste again.

so, i don't know if aspire changed the wicking material, as well as the writings on the package ,
or they just send better quality coils to regular USA Europe shops.
maybe also with better quality check, since the resistance readings i get from the FT coils are mostly of.
(all of the above with the same e-liquid i vape for many years,so i know how it should taste and from different coils batch/packages)
My Nautilus coils have always been really good & I still use them in many tanks.
You must of got a bad batch!

So I received my boxer mech bf today from Ginger vaper. After waiting two and a half months it arrived with a run in the plastic and a scraped 510 connector.

I know it's minor but for $145 and a two and a half month wait every one should be perfect or it shouldn't go out.

It looks like your 16mm took a chunk off the 510. Probably wouldn't go emailing them that it came that way. It'd be pretty easy to see the unit was used to which anyone would ask why you used it if it came that way.

Could be - there is always a price for the general public and then the price for professionals (which is only a few cents cheaper), however if you check online the most expensive price for a box is $17.49 . . . :)

The thought has crossed my mind in the past that fasttech sells factory second rejects.

Aspire changed the Nautilus wicking from a proprietary ceramic material to cotton a couple of years ago when everyone freaked out about the ceramic material.

Many Nautilus fans swear by the flavor of the ceramic version but they don't manufacture them anymore. I suspect your first batch is ceramic version. You can tell if it is the cotton version by the following card being in your box:

This looks like the writing on your 2nd batch so I'm guessing that is it. You can bust both open when your coils are spent and check the guts.

That was precisely the driver behind me rewicking them with rayon. I loved the old wicking material and was almost destroyed when they changed to cotton.

I like and recommend the Kompact Kayfun.

I told you that. FT has a whole Kompact Kayfun. I got mine day before yesteeday and built it this morning.

It looks pretty witg "Five Pawbs" on tge base.

Onbtye bottom it has the S over M logo. With designed in Russia made in Germany logos.

I cant recommend it for two reasons.

1. The short drip tip us not removable

2. One trapping screw trapped 26 gouge kanthal easily. Tge other screw woyld not trap 26 gauge at all. I had to replace tye offending screw.

I cant recomnend it.if you. Get one i would get some spare screwd and spate 25 mm tall bell caps

OK TPers - I can use alittle help with choosing some things for my niece and my hairdresser. Both have been using the Double Evod Starter kits while switching from smoking to vaping. Hairdresser is also using a little Eleaf Mini 10W iStick with a PT3 Mini on it. Both definitely like the tube shape rather than a box mod shape.

I'm wanting to get them each a tube shape mod that takes at least 18350 batteries, but preferrably 18650. So I've found both the Innokin SVD and the Smok SID that I like the features of, and both would be very easy for them to use. They can also use a variety of different tanks on them, that I know they'll want to do. That's 1 reason I've ruled out other tube shaped "kits" with matching tanks or built-in tanks.

So...does anyone have experience with either or both of those? I've used a variety of Innokin mods for several years, and I like their reputation and quality. But I know nothing about Smok mods.

Any advice?

If my niece sticks with vaping and stays totally off the smokes...she's going to be gifted a Provari Mini for Christmas. But, I want to give her 1 of the above between now and then, since it has more power and will last longer than her Evods do now.

Joyetech Ego One Mega Kit & CLR 1.0 Coils

Joyetech eGo ONE Mega V2 Kit

Joyetech CLR Coils (5 pack)

It's a great tube mod kit, but it's not an AIO and it is very reasonably priced. The kit is about $35 and the coils are about $10 for a pack of five coils. The tank that comes with the battery, the Ego One Mega Tank, is one of my favorite tanks, but I use several other tanks with the battery as well.

The tank does not leak, has adjustable air flow and when used with the CLR coils, provides excellent flavor. The CLR coils are the best drop-in coils I've found. They give great flavor and last forever! When the flavor starts to fall off after a few weeks, it can easily be rewicked. All you need to do is pull the coil, rise it with water, let it dry and rewick. I haven't rebuilt the coils yet, but it's supposed to be very easy to rebuild too.

I love my vika fantasy clones. Just for some aftermarket bling. The SnP SS tubes from vapourart fit and replacing the glass with them make the tanks look stunning and indestructable.
