Alternate ibuprofen and acetaminophen every two to four hours. Go to a doctor for antibiotics to settle it down until you can get to a dentist. I once went to the emergency room and got a local for the tooth and antibiotics. MD's can do that.
Good advice, 3mgs. Alternating the 2 is a good option. My dentist advised me not to take Ibu and Tylenol at the same time but alternating was fine. Don't remember why...

Don't know why, either, but it stands to reason that blood levels for one would be rising as the other was falling, therefore reducing the pain for a larger percentage of the time.

Acetaminophen is OK for the pain ibuprofen is more inflammation and pain caused by inflammation.
I personally would use naproxen sodium for the pain and ibuprofen if you are experiencing any inflammation (swelling).
You can get generic naproxen at Walmart. Aleve is naproxen. They are basically over the counter versions of the prescription drug Naprosyn.

Just remember our advice is no substitute for a good healthcare professional.

Always wondered when I'd get to use those classes, lol.

Yea Vaporrrrzzzzzzz!!!
Sometimes on protank coils you can twist the center pin of the coil inside the insulator when installing it. Sometimes giving the center pin on the coil, just a little, will seat it and make contact. Don't freely spin center pin though or you will twist coil leads around and short it.

Oh, and sometimes screwing coil in can compress the center pin insulator too much and slightly pulling it out some will fix it.
Thanks Ranger, wish I knew how I fixed it so I can do the same when/if the problem rears its pinhead again. :)

Oh well, it's working! Yeehawww!

Naproxin and Ibuprofin are both in a drug family called nsaids. I am not a doctor or a pharmacist, but per my brother who is a dentist do NOT take both. You CAN (per him) take alternating doses of ibuprofin and Tylenol, 2 hours apart but do not take more than one nsaid drug at a time, even alternating. The reason you you can do it with Tylenol is that it is in a different drug family.

Didn't see this until after I added to mine.
    That is absolutely true.
My brother is physician as well, and I had a LOT of classes via uncle Sam.
I always tell my brother that " the difference between God and a doctor is that God doesn't think he's a doctor.".

Sound Advise Ranger. :thumb: It was @juskiddin who was having the problem. I was merely cheering her success.
