T for Texas!
1) Took them around two weeks to ship out my order
2) A couple of items were leaking
3) The unflavored from nudenicotine had a flavor compared to the other one I tried. It took a couple of weeks for that flavor to disappear
Thank you, yes the shipping from NN is a known issue for sure.

I would, too. IMO the nic base I got from NN was at the top of my list...as far as quality, and being clear & tasteless.
Same... I like both the free base and the salts (especially the smooth and signature). They will also, for a small fee, send it air tight for long term storage on their free base.

I have never been a connoisseur of nicotine (only vape 6mg) so I am fasinated that people actually taste the difference.

I only add nicotine to a weekly batch because I find it does sour my mints & menthols but I have not really detected any difference in taste between cheap or expensive nic base. The only way I tell is how quickly it darkens any eliquid with vanillin in it.

That's why I ordered from them. To try the nic salts samples

I can taste a difference in the nic I have bought. Of the 5 liters in the freezer. 4 are tasteless from 2 different places.1 had a pepper taste at 18mg, I kept it but may replace it. The rest have gone down the drain.

I only bought the regular cheaper nic base from them, before they had the specialty ones at all. What I received was top-notch to me.

I'm not a fan of paying for the long term storage "extra" stuff some vendors do. IMO, essentially the same results can be obtained storing it in a glass bottle with a polycone lined cap, filling it up to about 1/4" from the top, and not opening it until it's time to break down that larger bottle into smaller ones. Those smaller ones are also glass with polycone lined caps. At least that's how all of mine is stored in my freezer. The few smaller bottles I've taken out and used...I can tell no difference in the nic yet, from the way it arrived. I would think that if air's not been getting in them yet to degrade them, it's not going to longterm either! But, just my 2 cents worth.

Do you ever vape the unflavored? I doubt differences could be detected once flavor was added

Oh, with the MFS nic...I could definitely tell the difference in the peppery taste, in my DIY recipes made with it. In fact, I did a little experiment with a few other vaping friends, too, on being able to tell a difference between the same 2 recipes...made with 4 different nic bases. 3 of the 4 people mentioned the peppery taste in those made with MFS nic, but not in the others. The 1 who didn't...vaped mostly tobacco flavored eliquids, and HE said it didn't seem unusual or a bad thing to him!

Instead of "Tootle Womping Squonkaholic" it's "Toaster Womping Squonkaholic" ;)
Wow! Boy, I completely missed that. In my defense I was, ummm, well, guess I don't have a good excuse, I just missed it.

We need to get some garden hose to turn the toaster into a squonk box.
Didn't you see the pic I posted? The Toaster is already a squonk box.;) Not my style though, I'll stick with my Coppervapes, I like the hole position better.

I’ve been pretty happy wth hg2 but I haven’t tried the 30q yet. I pr9bably want two more high capacity batteries so maybe I’ll get some of those next. Strangely my vtc5 last longer in high drain situations than the hg2.
The HG2 are my facorite batteries

I'm pretty sensitive to most flavors, etc. and there are only a handful of juices I like, many taste of chemicals to me (ones that others love). The MFS nic I started with was very peppery compared to the NN, that was the only difference I noticed in taste.

Here is what NN says they do that is beyond that process:
"We use 99.9% pure medical-grade Argon gas to displace all oxygen within the bottle before sealing. This will prevent oxidation of nicotine and PG/VG from oxygen commonly left within the storage bottle."

Whether that actually does anything or not is for those who might know... no clue for me LOL.

I actually disagree. I don't think it is as easy as people think. Making single flavour recipes that stand the test of time is tricky. It takes time, patience and accurate recording to fully develop a recipe from scratch. I spent over a year playing with mints trying to find the one. I would get something vapeable that would be revolting or meh a couple of weeks later. If you get lucky and find a recipe you like then sure but remember someone put in the time and effort to develop it for their tastebuds.

In all that time of trying a gazillion combos of different concentrate brands of say peppermint, spearmint, wintergreen, horehound, licorice, anise etc I never found it. I stumbled across a recipe by someone else that had the same ingredients but a different % of each and it was very good. Starting with that I tweaked it myself and now had a flavour that is the same months later and vapes exactly the same each time.

Thats why I suggest this as an option. You can taste the eliquid first and work out if you like it. Not just spend money on single flavour concentrates trying to figure it out yourself

Would you mind sharing that recipe? I've been trying to figure out how to make a mint flavor and I'm not even close so far.

Agreed. I have yet to make a successful single recipe juice!
