Progress report...
I am still running the waterfall wick (aka a bit of rayon on top of the coil).
The coil is essentially gunk free and I would have dry burned at least once, probably twice by now without the waterfall wick.
Pic please?
So, based on the definition I read of a tootle puffer, what do you call someone in the middle? My setup, Cuboid + toptank nano + .5 ohm coil, but I vape between 15 & 20 watts...
What I am running is a regular spaced coil wicked with rayon as typically done.
Then a small amount of rayon draped over the top of the coil kind of like the top flavor wick in an evod.
I change out the waterfall wick every few days as required.
What is it you would like to see?
Ok I understand. Was not sure what it was you were running. I remember when we used to do that. I think they were called flavor wicks also?
It was TrollDragon that suggested they were called waterfall wicks, elifino I missed that party.
I had no idea that "we used to do that".
I believe Kanger calls them flavor wicks.
Why don't we do this anymore?
Apparently we do
I vividly remember placing that extra piece of silica across that coil for that massive flavor boost![]()
My reasoning was-is the top of the coil gets hotter than the bottom of the coil and some wick on top may help even the temperature. It appears to work to a degreeI get some caramelization in the top wick after a few days but the coil is still crud free. It is very quick and easy to replace the itty bitty top wick.
There is perhaps a slight increase in flavor intensity and vapor quantity at the expense of a bit longer ramp up time on a cold atty.
Sitting here thinking about this I think it could work in my Tilemahos. I have the Springomizer deck so the coil is very long. I give it a try and see if it helps any.

Here you guys are! Found yah! I think i was posting in the over looked thread thinking it was the toottles group lol. I have a question and i think you guys might know my answer. Is there a tank like the kayfun, but with air flow and filing that isn't a screw? I cant do screws everytime i need to adjust airflow my fingers won't allow it. I take forever building and that's putting the legs in the hole. Don't ask how long it takes me if i have to wrap a coil around something lol. So are the any tanks line the kayfun but with out all the screws?

That is still a tootle puffer I think. Tootlin is not restricted to MTL vaping only I do not think. I have a lot of DL lung tanks set up, maybe half of the ones I use, but run them in the 20w range and my MTL tanks anywhere up to 15w maybe. I should say my direct lung tanks are a restricted lung inhale I have nothing that has huge airflow anymore.
Woofed, waterfall? Please advise as I've been swimming in advocacy and dooming. I don't know what this is?

From my "extensive" knowledge (coughcough) of the KFs, you can top fill them. There are a ton of YouTube vids on this delicate procedure.
And welcome, new TPuff.
LFJ, I have a slight interest in this but I'm a bit concerned about the reports that it is airy airy airy. Has anyone here had one, and have a comment about that?
Welp, rhelton, in my opinion, TPuffin is definitely mouth to lung vaping. But that's just me.
The definition doth evoveth.
Guess who is two weeks sober today
My mother brought my vaping gear to the institution. But they have never seen it before and had to confiscate it until tomorrow and look over it and possible dangers and how they should deal with it. My cigarettes though is no problem. Free to smoke inside as well.

Because it's a rare day that I rebuild a single bottom coil Kanger anymore?![]()
Hi everyone!
Like, like, like, like, like, like, like.... Please consider all prior posts "liked" (as appropriate)
ZOMG - I'm IN LOVE with my KFV3!!!!!!!!!! Still trying to figure out airflow adjustment, but me likey!!!!!!!!
If I wasn't playing around with the Justfog now I'd be recoiling the kanger single about once every few weeks.
Hmmmmm....they've got the original KFv3 at my local B&M for a hundred and change,I think I'll have a closer look and perhaps splash the loot for it. (I've never ever considered paying over a hundred for an atty before)

OHHHHH, Canuck Brother - I got mine from VapeNW for $15 (Tobeco)...... I can't fathom paying $100 for an atty - most I ever spent on a mod was $70, and that was $30 too much for it![]()
I picked mine up from FT. About u$15
