ONE of the questions on Who Wants to be a Millionaire (daytime TV) was who recorded the longest song ever recorded? 8+ minutes, in 1971. Contestant was a young Doctor who didn't even know who Don McLean is! Asked the audience and only 40% of them knew the answer! He went with Pink Floyd (which 41%of the audience thought so Bam! outta dere! So American Pie beat out Mahna Mahna for the day, oh well.
