There's a flood of inexpensive 3D printed mechanical squonkers coming out China, now. I have a Frankenskull clone. I also have a Dripbox, Dripbox 2, Dripbox 160, Pico Squeeze, Inoy, and Wraith. If you want mech, get thr Boxer clone... it features a locking switch. If you want unregulated, get the Pico Squeeze. If you want VW/TC, either the Dripbox 2 or Wraith. If you want inexpensive authentic, YiLoong just came out with some 3D boxes, and Steelvape has a 20700 mech squonker.

The Kangertech Dripbox line right? That's one I was looking at. I was worried about build quality because MVS has them really cheap. I have been eyeballing them since they put the Dripbox up for less than $30.

Since you're looking at them, I'd get the Dripbox 2, TC function is better than on the DB 160.....at least for me it is.

Thanks, I am leaning towards the 160 for the dual batteries. IDK how much I would get into squonking. If I really get into it I'm going to need two batteries.

Without spending a fortune, the wanko is quite nice.

I actually have a couple, just haven't bothered taking the clips out and trying my own build yet. Figured I have the coils they came with I might as well use them first. Guess I could just leave the clips in one, and put my own build in another.

No love for the Wasp? Been eyeballing that one.

Haven't tried the wasp... looks about like a fancified version of the Wanko :)

I should've mentioned the VandyVape Pulse 22, too.. but it might be a little airy...

The unregulated Dripboxes have been known to autofire, but I've had no issues with mine...

If you're gonna go unregulated, the Pico Squeeze is a better choice.

I'd rather go regulated. I like setting a Wattage or a Temp. The KT DB 160 looks pretty good to me. I've never used a dripper and I've never built my own coils. You can rebuild or buy pre-mades fairly cheaply, and I rarely if ever approach 100 Watts even though I have a 200 Watt box mod so the thing is powerful enough to run any normal non-squonking tank that I would use. It's out of stock on MVS right now but they have it listed at less than $40. I have a feeling that this is going to be my new dual battery box mod even though the Revenger is intriguing.

Oh man, dripper's are the bomb if you're into that sort of thing..... Back in the day when I was chasing clouds, I used a dripper and man you can get some intense flavor as well as lots of vapor......... My style has changed and I no longer chase clouds or use dripper's........... Even when I was using a dripper I never approached 100 watts (just too hot of a vape for my mouth)....... That's why I can't understand why people need 200W (or higher) devices when 60 or 75W will produce mega amounts of vapor provided the tank is matched to the mod.

I went from the Sigelei 100 Watt box to the Sigelei Fuchai 200 Watt+TC. At the time I was doing higher and higher Wattages, and I figured going close to 100 was safer on a mod built for 200, and the thing was only about $50. Now the highest I go is 75. I'm much more likely to go in the 35-55 range though. And that's rare. I went at this from the other end. Started from crappy cig-a-likes. So I have always used a cartomizer, or a clearomizer, or an atomizer in a tank.

awesome! yeah you sound like myself........I have a mod that is 120W and it has been thrown in a drawer for a long time and I never touch it.......... I am on a smaller 70W device (I have been for a long time) and it's plenty for this ole dude. I can turn it down and do MTL or if I am in the mood for more vapor I can crank it up a bit, open the airflow on my tank and go to town.

I had to order some more of my TC coils. Found them on sale at about $7 for a box of 5. Grabbed another extender kit for my second NaughtyX since they had them for $5 while I was at it, so that one will have a 4 ml capacity too. My single battery 75 Watt mod (w/ the 2nd NaughtyX) will actually cover my entire range of vaping, but I do like the convenience of dual batteries.

I hear ya buddy ......... Man, that is a very good price for TC coils! Yep, my old 70W IPV2 is my go to mod as it will cover the entire range......... Only problem is that it is not a TC mod because when I got the thing, TC was just starting to appear on the market...

I want to get a similar mod to the IPV2 but only one that supports TC ............ I want to keep my temp low due to all the negative reports about carcinogens at high temps.
