I've got a pic of the coil I disassembled on my computer somewhere. Dual element with more cotton than I've ever seen in a coil. I'll post it if I can find it. I pulled the last one at 16 days just for grins to look. Had life left in it.

I made it like 6 years ago, I don't think I even have the pics for making one anymore.
It cost all of $2.20 to make though.

OH... those days of learning how to become "self reliant" in the face of adversity.

Well - In that case then . . . For those that maybe interested and into DIY there is also something else available . . . IMO - it's very good for stealth vaping and simplicity, especially in emergency situations . . . The "PUCK" that uses 4 AAA batteries (a very close ECF Friend @liblue1  made "Me" one ). . .

lmyjKqW.png

(Not a great pic, but Ya' get the idea)

Here's a tutorial and discussion:

BTW: Ya' can find even more information and tutorials for different versions by doing a simple search on ECF for the "Puck" or even Goggle. . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Wait till you start building.

coils cost me about 2 cents. And vape them about 3 months. Cotton to wick twice a week and a coil i make costs ne about 15 cents to vape three months.
10-4...I saw a vid on YT where a guy dissected the coil and he made note of just how much cotton was in there and to make sure it was primed...Amazing how inexpensive those coils are ???...Trig

You don't have to prime each hole. There are 20! Manual says to fill tank, wait 5 to 10 minutes and vape. I disagree. I fill it, then let it sit half hour to 45 minutes. Then I suck on it quite a bit without firing. Then I give it a few short stacatto puffs while firing. Then I start slow. A few puffs, then break. Whole process can take 45-hour, but I vape 70 vg and am cautious. By the way it handles 70 vg fine, but I wouldn't go higher. With light colored liquids without a lot of sweetener I'm thinking 3 weeks is possible. May be wrong, but I'll find out!

Ya'...5 mins sounds a little short...I'm 50/50 but a pretty light hitter...3 weeks sounds good and I get almost that much out of an i16...Got'a Go...Thanks...Trig

These coils are quite similar to the old cartomisers. I had great luck shooting eliquid straight down the center over the coils when priming. Could use a minute later when done that way. If you're feeling adventurous.
Soak'em down, blow them out, few primer puffs, and start with low wattage.

Does anyone remember if Wizard Labs repackages their flavors? If they do, which company does not? I like the "regular" Capella bottles, unlike Nic River that repackages...
tagging @JCinFLA but if others know the answer, please chime in!

I use Bull City all the time and have always received the original CAP bottles. They are snappy on the order processing too, same day or next day and they have it in the mail, every time so far. I have a discount code I can pm you (it references another forum so I'm not sure I can post it), it's not a big discount but it's been working for me for months.
