My 5 year vaperversary is tomorrow

Who woulda thunk it 5 years ago? I sure in the heck didn't.!

Yeah, no kidding! I stuck with Spinners and Twists, and the PT series (although I did rebuild those) until my first vapeversary, since I really didn't think it would "take" before then!

Look at us now!!

After lending out my daily driver ProVari 2.5 this spring I decided to try out some other devices instead of cracking open the ProVari hoard. I found a few other devices that had decent buck circuitry to handle my low wattage style and have been rotating through them all summer. I found my second favorite mod and it has less buttons than the ProVari - none!

The Wismec RX75 is the most satisfying device to hold and fire that I have ever used. Fits my hand perfectly and just a little squeeze and it's vaping. The paint on the doors is wearing off and after reading reviews I've never used the finicky mechanical lock switch but it has performed flawlessly. Not ProVari smooth but pretty damn good power regulation (at 4.5 watts!). When I reach for a mod it always ends up in my hand.

I realized how much I enjoy it when I was putting together a Heavens Gifts clearance order. A couple more VTC Minis and a few Innokin Disrupters for about $50 shipped. I rarely pass up a deal that sweet, but then thought "I could get two more RX75's from fasttech for that price!" and held up on the HG order. That thinking only happened before with the ProVari blem deals. I think my infatuation with the RX75 has developed into a long term relationship. Good thing my ProVaris are open minded, but then they know they'll always be my #1.

Well, it really does have buttons ;)

I've swapped in the translucent covers on mine, since I like to keep track of what's going on. Yep, fine mod. Yep, I don't use the lock switch, either. :)

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

why? it was another mod I would never use. for my juice; I prefer a .8-1 ohm coil Provari wont fire below 1.2 ohms.

Provari's are not the easiest mod to configure. Rather have something user friendly like a pico or VTC Mini.

who knows I may want to try temp control with stainless steel wire.
