Tootle Puffers, Part Three! (The Sequel of the Redux)

Now that's a busy day, no time for boredom there.

For me it is actually a day off, a very slow day.

Taking the day off.
Cold front blew in last night.

Making a pot of red beans. Ham onions garlic one jalapeño, a few sprigs of cilantro, one shiner beer.
Pot of rice to accompany the above.
Hoping the better half will make jalapeño cornbread to go with when she gets home.

Finish up billing / paper work for the last 4 weeks of bovine relocation. While vaping.

Go feed & check pasture of 40 heifers, then over to check & feed bulls. While vaping.

Go to town to PO drop off above mentioned paperwork & bonus checks to drivers, drop by feed store to shoot the bull & pick up a ton of cubes, florist for some flowers for my wife when she gets home (helps with the making of cornbread), pick up 2 cases of grease, 2 55 gallon barrels motor oil, & welding rods/wire.

Go to truck yard, disconnect trailer park truck in shop, remove bent up front bumper from my truck, Clean interior, make list & pickup drivers lists of pieces & parts needed - While vaping.

Return home, conference call with ranch hands, then equipment shop, take nap.
Might replace head in kabuki.

Dang it, forgot dog food, oh well, they’ll have to eat steak tonight. Dogs don’t vape.

Sounds like a weeks worth of to dos...( for me anyhow)

Diluting it and adding some honey and apple flavor fixed it up fine

I have yet to find a store bought juice that didn't need some diluting.I usually buy 24 mg flavoured juice,then thin it to my prefered 6 mg.I'll then add 6 or 7 drops of that into an atomizer and fill the remaining with unflavoured 6mg.

I've been busy the last 2 weeks getting ready for a huge fundraiser sale I had last week-end and will have again this coming week-end. It's to benefit a local horse rescue. Everything's brand new and has to be priced/tagged before I take it to the house I own in another city...where I hold the indoor sale. People have been buying quite a bit of a variety of stuff, so I have to restock things if I have more. Others have also asked if I have specific Lands' End clothing & shoes in certain sizes, colors, styles, etc. other than what's there already. Since I have a huge "stash" of it...I'm rooting through boxes today and tonight to locate what my spreadsheets tell me I should still have.

Also have sold some vaping gear to both existing vapers and newbies who want to try vaping. 3 newbies are really looking forward to it working for them, too. I'm teaching 2 current vapers, (who were newbies at last year's sale), how to DIY next week-end.

So, I've been busy, too, but can always still manage to find some time to be on here! Usually it's when I'm taking a break to finally eat something.

Raked up all the fallen leaves on the property,dug about 6 bags worth into the veggie garden.

Somebody told me not to do that years ago. Can't even remember why. Something like leaves using up the phosphate in the soil as they break down. Now I dump them all on the surface or leave them in the bags until the spring and use them for mulch.

Memory is a funny thing. I remember my mother telling me that with one particular vegetable, potatoes or onions I think, you should never use them after they start to sprout because they become toxic. Trouble is that conversation never happened. I asked her about it decades later. So for years I threw away perfectly good potatoes and onions.

Relaxing is great isn't it.

Today is my day off. Went out early for my annual meeting with the financial advisor to check on my IRA. Stopped to get my wife's prescriptions and buy yard waste bags and some other stuff, and get a flu shot. Now I have to go pick up kerosene. Bring the heater in and install a new wick. Pick up food and make a big dish of shepard's pie for dinner and a dozen frozen portions for work. Rewick half a dozen tanks this evening. Should mix some juice but I won't have time. Then I'll replace the wiper stem on my wife's Prizm when she gets home.

In my spare time I'll bag up leaves.

At least I'll be back at work tomorrow so that should be an easier day.

Really been enjoying the Lost Vape Epetite I got at the vape shop a couple weeks ago. It's topped with a Vika Fantasy styled, with a 1.8Ω Naughty Mini coil.
The Evolv DNA chips are really great, and I've become a huge fan of them.

Man, now that I'm home from seeing my psychiatrist (mainly, he helped me figure out what to take during the kiddo's trial that would make me sufficiently vacant to not explode into cursing at the Judge if things go wrong, the answer is the tiniest bit of Seroquel. Hopefully I will NOT fall asleep, but I will definitely be lethargic, and I am rarely lethargic but THIS should work.

But I just woke up feeling "wrong" somehow and I plan on doing nothing at all this afternoon, the Moms is spending the day with the kiddo, so I get a brief respite before Trial Time. OH, I HOPE IT DOESN'T GO CATASTROPHICALLY WRONG (prayers accepted) poor kid, this particular legal issue was NOT his fault, and 3 YEARS LATER we go to a two day trial.... Over a BS DUI that wasn't really LEGAL even. I know my son's lawyer keeps saying he's optimistic. But, I am not. OH GOD.

So yeah, the couch it will be for me today. We're having frozen pot pies for dinner.....

More fires?! Definitely bringing back bad memories from October! I sincerely wish all of you nearby the fires the best of luck. It’s very scary stuff. I’m still amazed by the destruction of entire neighborhoods in my town!

And even better, I found a bottle of Creme Brulee, after using unflavored for so long this is delightful!

I saw on the news tonight where one of the burned out houses was just sold. Can you imagine buying a house, and before you even start moving in, you got nothing. So bad for many, many folks, it's sickening just thinking about it.
