Hi Gerry,Trade...The Squape RS does look interesting (especially the "blind chimpanzee could build one" aspect)...
The link is not clear...is it Top-Filling???
..
The Squape Rs is not a top fill, but it is not a traditional bottom fill with screw like the Kayfun and Lemo. It is easier to bottom fill than many top fill tanks. You simply unscrew the base with your fingers (no tools required) and fill it up. No juice controls to close like a Kayfun V4 or any of that other nonsense to worry about. When you fill up with juice, the whole bottom pulls out with your base and coil attached. Super easy, and I love it because I can easily inspect my coil and wick each time I fill up.
Another misconception is that people who prefer tight Kayfun style draws will not be satisfied with a Squape Rs. This tank has multiple air options with an easily turned air ring, much like the original Nautilus. You can make the draw much tighter than a Kayfun, or airy enough for a lung hit. I like a somewhat tight draw myself.
Even P. Busardo said the Squape had marginally better flavor than a Kayfun and I agree. I like the fact that there are less parts to break and far less O-rings to fail. The Squape Rs made me sell my Kayfun Light V2's and that was hard for me, because I loved them.
I want simple, rugged, reliable, and outstanding flavor in my tanks for the FDA vapocolypse.
***And thank you Gerry for all the work you do posting great deals in the "Deals and Steals" thread. I have found some outstanding deals thanks to you!
