Those are actually fixed, Mel. Other panels fit on top of them, but you can't remove "Sexy Santa". Sorry.
My black one has a knight (and was one of the factors for me when I got it). Long story, and irrelevant.
Now I want the black carbon fiber panels, which is all @Katdarling 's fault.

The panels DO pop off, once you ask Colonel Mustard where is the secret door......
Once you remove the batt (from the gloriously easy flip up door), you'll see two little half moon slots on either side. That's the time to test your nail strength, and just pop in a nail (or a toothpick, or any little poppy item), and the plates will voila come out.
Easy squeezy.
(see the little 1/2 moon aperature?)
My RX75 died yesterday. Not in the typical fashion - I killed it.
Working at my Dad's house burning brush and branches, I bent over to stir up the fire and it fell out of my shirt pocket right into the middle of the coals. Staring down in disbelief I singed my hair and beard just to top it off. A few minutes later there was a small "whoosh" sound when the battery vented.
Good time to have a complete backup setup in my car, except I took our van so I could drop off a snowblower. The long afternoon of fall cleanup got pretty edgy after a few hours. A couple drops of liquid on the tongue helped me avoid road rage after getting cut off a couple times on the long drive home. A pack of cigarettes crossed my mind once.
Most all of the 110,000 puffs were tasty.

. Not having extra doors yet, I assumed they’d have the vent in them as well. As soon as the panels come from Ebay, I’m going to see if it’s possible to custom make some.

Did you change the panels to the white ones? I believe they all have the slots but Kat can tell you since she has extra panels.
I originally assumed you just pop panels on top of the original, I haven't actually changed anything yet. the vid I watched looked like they were being changed out completely so who knows?

My mod just came with “santa”, no doors to hide him under. I would have settled for plain white if there had been an option.
The problem is going to be getting them thin enough. I’m pretty sure I could fit a flexible magnet sheet topped with carbon fiber fabric without passing the lip/edges. Honestly don’t know how good that will look until I try it. At worst, I can refinish the ones with graphics.440! So sorry! That must have been ROUGH!

May I ask which site you got yours from? I ordered from 2 different sites but have only received the one from 8vape and it had the plain white panels.
That's kool, rose! DPL has our new Xmas ones, so I'm checking with him to see if we got the white panels too.
