When the Evod and Protank came out I was part of the first co-op and excited for that breakthrough. I found both to be harsher than cartos at the time, which I now think is because of the type of devices I was using with choppy pwm. I hadn't tried a ProVari yet, and by the time I did I had boxed those toppers up in the old stuff pile. I wonder how I'd like them on a dna mod or a ProVari today with smooth power.

One of the things I liked about the kits was that the batteries were fixed voltage (3.7, I think). I always said that if the GoGo had fixed voltage, I might still be using them today.

The "piddling off" of power was the thing that quickly drove me to VV (now VW), and here I remain. Happy, I.

My first ones gave battery voltage. Start out with burnt hits when fully charged and anemic when the battery was almost dead. It's amazing I managed to quit using them. The vv3's were a joy to use.

I did like my Evods and Pro tank Minis,I used them with the first rendition of the eVic.I still have them, and they're in working order with a stash of new coils. If the stuff I use today were all to go "POOF"... I can still pull them out and vape on them. :).

A Merry Christmas to all !!!

IF (big if) I were to take a dual coil RDA (Atomic) and close one of the holes off so I could vape single coil ...
would that be violating some sort of TP (renaissance) regulation ?

Not that I'm aware of, but I've never been much for rulez. :D

Happy Christmas Eve, TPuffers!

I'm having a difficult time envisioning you as designated driver, but if you say so. ;)

Stay on track.

I bought lots of the Evod Double Starter Kits a few years ago, when they were regularly on various websites' Clearance sections. They've so far helped 5 people switch from the smokes to vaping. The newer Evod Glass tanks are even better, because they take the Kanger Dual Coils (ones in the whitish box that fit many Kanger tanks). Even newbies who've chosen to start with higher mAh batteries, or a different type than the Evod 650mAh that came in the kits, have chosen to use the Evod Glass tanks when quitting. I use them, too, sometimes. Still have a nice stash of them, too, from a Health Cabin dirt cheap Clearance sale on them.

I check in to this thread every now and then and have still not figured out if I belong. I am an mtl vaper - depending on the mod and coil - I vape between 10 and 15 watts. Pray tell, am I a tootle puffer? I really want to know - who I am, my identity is important. I don't want to be a closet tootle puffer! Nor do I want to be in a state of tootle-puffery denialism. If I qualify, I want it to be official - so I can inform my family and any interested state authorities.
