I know! But I just hate that battery cap. I'm working on persuading myself that, since using the charger will lead to less wear and tear on the threads, it's actually a very sensible investment.

I have clumsy fingers and find it a pain to deal with. So, guess what? I ordered myself a charger along with the red Mini. I just can't bring myself to be parsimonious right now. Even with the little flickers of good news recently, I believe we're in for a long dry spell, and I want to be able to weather it comfortably.

I'm converted to wonders and good word of The Church of Double Battery Mods and Tootle Puffing. Half charge on my DB v3 with 2 Samsung 30Qs on day 8. It's mostly a daily driver, Solo gets used as a beater while on the water. Most of my work day as a fisherman is actually spent driving

Funnily enuf, with all my vape kwirks, I don't mind changing the batteries in the Danies!

I only very rarely use USB charging, even with the mods that support it. Swapping batts as I've been doing works just fine for me too. The last thing I want is another piece of equipment (that I can't actually vape), and especially not one that doesn't serve all of my devices.

Just another in the long line of personal decisions relating to vape, with none "right" nor "wrong".
