My daily tanks are the BP Mods Pioneer. They are the easiest to build and fill. They create the best flavor too for me.

I also still have Greek (and other) tube mechs, and use them on occasion. I don't foresee myself parting with them since they represent the 'golden age of vaping' to me, and are finely crafted pieces of functional vape-art. Lot's of great memories for certain...

That, and the way things seem to be going, you know you'll have something to use should all your regulated mods go south.

Wasn't there a film about that? A Few Good Mechs? ;)

I not only have a few tube mods from the "Golden Age" (Maraxus, Hammer, Fliptronix clone,Panzer) , I have about 10 or so kicks. Plus, I have about 50 boxes of coils should I have to use the several Aspire Nautilus tanks I have.

    I'm ready for the apocalypse.

BTW, how's that for old school. ;)

In my case, a LOT of regulated mods will need to spit the bit, but if they do, I'll either take what the market has to offer or just say, "Screw it. Gimme a Marlboro."

I figured I'd be advanced enough on this planet to not care (which I'm borderline already right NOW, given the state of "things").

    Light 'em up. :smokie:

This forum is a bad influence. ;)

After posting about my "Golden Age" equipment, I dug out an Aspire Nautilus tank and outfitted it with a 1.6 ohm coil. Filled the tank with my former ADV, Vape Dudes Buttery Nipple. The bottle had a born on label saying "3/3/2020".

I leaned back, took a drag and then another and then another. I remembered why Buttery Nipple was my ADV for years. Also why the Aspire Nautilus was my go to tank for years. Ahh, the smoothness and great taste.

Almost brought a tear to my eye.

Similar on that. Have a dozen going all the time (never any flavor burnout that way). And a backup and a backup for each. Most acquired in sales when the latest and greatest made them "passe." building the storage box when the mantra was that Chinese mods would only last a year. Um, nearly 10 years vaping, and I've had 2 fail, and one of those was definitely my fault.

    But, yeah, insurance.

Infinity Bunker scrolls back to Super T and GG mech era circa 2009/2010, then much Provari, much much more Dicodes, more than much Svoemesto, eleventeen hundred Chinese m0dz, weird US mods that seemed like a good idea at the time, the list goes on, and on, and on, will start vape museum one day, or run personal vape store accessible only via Tor .onion

Switching houses, packing things I forgot ever existed. The Nautilus with P3 threading!!! I seem to have 8 of them, but only 1 brand new sealed one. (Skyline, Hussar, Rose 3, and Kabuki Ti boxes out of focus laying on floor in background ;-)

Mmmm 12 years of vaping, I have a small warehouse full of gear vs. smoking, all I'd have to show for it is a mountain of ashes and cigarette butts. Hooray shiny progress!

For as long as I can 18*** batteries I am good to go. The vv4's are failing rapidly but got about 5 years out of them and they were never part of the stash.

I do find mixing a chore these days, I seem to put if off for as long as possible.

You will find me eventually in the old vapers home. I will be the one with the SVD2 in my pajama pockets scaring the nurses

I loved the style of the open work design tanks. Somewhere is my old cartomizer tank called The Phoenix Nest. I loved that tank.

Yeah, built in batteries don't count :) I still have a mess of - gasp - stick batteries, mostly auto draw. Look pretty odd with a KF2L on top!

And my tubes aren't counted, either. Heck, my SVD1 still works, even with a squishy button.

Take a mixing shortcut. I mix to about 18, so when needed mix up a liter of unflavored at just over that on nic, and just below that on PG%. Most flavorings are in PG, so when it's time to mix, just add the flavorings. Brings the nic down a tad and the PG% up a hair.

    Easy peasy :)

I still like pulling out the SVD1.

Not the 2, unless I need a non-lethal weapon for reasons I cannot think of. ;)

Actually have both colors of the SVD2, gotta have the complete set. But most times I feel like wielding a tube I'll pick up one of my Teslas, the sorta triangular open body ones. Aircraft aluminum, I think the 18650 and topper weigh more than the mod!

(Uh, yeah, complete set of those, too...)

There's a silver one up on my shelf too.

We certainly DID have some fun, pickup up "stuff". Poor kids now - all they've got are podmods, one looking pretty much like the next. Soon, they'll all be "packs of cigs" with just different colors and emblems.

    What a ride...

I don't think I ever used one of those.

Great little carto tanks, and a fantastic price (at the time). Full disclosure: it was a clone of another very expensive option, whose name escapes me right now. I expect somewhere here MIGHT recall what they were, but I can't remember it.
