I rolled with 36mg for about the first few months, switched to 24mg and stayed there maybe 2.5yrs

now I am at 18mg ; and 16mg, 12mg JUST DOESN'T GET IT DONE... !



thought I should add (eta)
•started by using ego batteries / 2.5Ω (very low power)(36mg)
•then started learning, lowering Ω's (24mg)
•now a savvy vapor'er, then equipment got much better (18mg)
so my hypothesis - better atomization = less NIC needed IMO

Pretty much why I stay a happy tootler, sipping juice on my KFs. All I need to remain an EX-smoker

3-5ml per day.

And that is the problem these days...
Once you start to enjoy the dense vapor there is no going back to older RTAs. I put a build on the Rose V2 the other night, vaped it a while and ended up draining it for cleaning and storage. The same with the Kayfun V4, I just don't enjoy the limited airflow anymore.

So many great tanks, so little air...

This statement makes me quite happy that I am vaping on the same tank that I quit smoking on.
I will admit I don't have a clue on about have the talk that goes on in here.

I'm at 18. (Actually started there, years back,and at the time it wasn't enough. Went with 24, and quit smoking. Dropped back down to 18 a couple months later.) MTL, like I smoked, and mix about 65/35 PG/VG as the throat hit is part of the process I like. Get enough vapor to continue to fool to mind. (Well, that does get easier every year! )

We all need different things to keep the tobacco demon in check.

We must be twins of something. That the same as my progression. I have started introducing 12mg to the evening.

I started with 36mg almost 4 years ago. My intention was to get to the point that I would be at 0mg and then stop all together. Thing is it's became a hobby and I really enjoy it. I know I could probably go to 0mg but then I'm afraid my mind will say "OK your done".

I still really enjoy the "process", and haven't really considered becoming an ex-vaper. Keep coming up with research that indicates the efficacy of nic (sans combustion, of course!) for all sorts of maladies. That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it!

And FDA can take the proverbial long walk off a short pier. 8+ liters of 100 mg nic on ice

Although nic at night has never bothered me, a smoke before bed was part of my routine.

Except the 3 times I tried to quit with the patch - couldn't put one on at night, really weird dreams!! (So, I'd get up in the AM, put on a patch, and go out for a smoke.... yeah, like anything that didn't replicate the process, for me it was a massive fail!

There is nothing finer than a GEM or a Rose V2 for intense flavor! One way ticket to Flavor Town IMHO.

It's the dense vapor part that is missing.

I was all over the board when I first started. Actually started with 0mg, dabbled around 8=10, DIY 12 for a while and now settled on 6.

I had the same problem with patches. I had to take them off a good hour before bed.

Now why didn't you post that earlier. I've gone from a Kabuki to a Merlin (love that tank) a Bellus, and now, thanks to some bad influences around here (not pointing fingers, just say'in) a Crius Plus and a Limitless+.

Fortunately, I can't do those all day without passing out, so it's only a once in a while if the mood hits me. The good news, it's been a lot better since mixing my own 3 mg juice for it than my usual 12 mg (boy was I sick hitting that up at first).

I forgot to mention that I also like my Serpent RTA. It can be closed and used with a smaller Drip Tip with a higher ohm build for MTL. I can also put a subohm build in and open it up for DL. Nice tank for both!

Been a awhile since I used this. Still works great for being built 2+ years ago!

OH!! Look at that! It's my favorite Mamu-esque mod of yours! Gorgeous, LJ FLA!

I have kicks in all my box mods and the tube mods that I use. For flat tops I have some of the White delrin circles that came with the nemesis hybrid adapters. (Sometimes you see them in older VV mods) or the battery adapters from mad vapes that turn flat tops to button tops.

Kicked and ready to rock it.

I'm EXTREMELY pleased with my Serpent Minis. I have one built to a shade under 1.5Ω and have been nursing that today (on Glovari ) It allows me the airier draw I wish I could get from the KFs (no, don't have a V5 yet....), it's crazy easy to build and wick, and I could take it lower if I want.

Dings, have you had any problem with shorting on the Serp Mini? I've read about the necessity to trim the leads as being something critical to this atty. Also, any issues with using an Alan Wrench to tighten up the wires? And lastly, what gauge wire do you use for builds on it?

Speaking of the Serp Mini - ohhhhhh @Katdarling..... I just tightened down the Serp to almost no airflow, and it's a tighter draw than a KF.... Jus' sayin'....
