Perfect. Why buy more when you can just zap another look.
Why thank you, but compared to yours, mine are just too "normal." I will study what you have done and see where it takes me. What is the durability of your ink process? We live and work on a farm, so things will get dropped/bumped/etc. Can I just do a gloss Verathane finish over it or are they "good to go" as is?

The inks by themselves need a coating. I am useless at sprays so I went the resin path. This particular resin is very durable and made to be handled. Once fully cured if it gets dinged or scratched, it can be sanded and polished or even filled with another thin coat of the same resin. It self levels so will fill in and repair the gouge.

I don't know what the verathane finish will do to the inks. What ever you use has to be non pourous or it will absorb the inks. You can make your own inks by taking the inside of a sharpie and soaking it in isopropyl alcohol. The pigments are not the best but it gives you something cheap to play with.

Is there a brand name to the type of resin you are using? Can we say that here? And is it available outside of Oz? :)

I am building a couple picnic tables for a special vape party here next year and I am thinking one of them could be a "Krisma Bench"... all those colors might well encourage the guests to kick back and vape to the max...

I am using the issue equivalent of Envirotex liquid gloss. I only have an Amazon link in the other thread but I am sure if you look around you will find it. Not the cheapest by any stretch but for what I wanted to do it was the easiest to use. Remember I am a novice at this resin game.

I state again, and for the record, I am confuzzled! I have a Mini Nautilus @ 1.8 and an Apache at .24.

Honestly, less confuzzled than it sounds. I'm mostly a TC vaper... a lot of low ohm builds that mean precisely jack because the software monitors everything to provide me with a consistent vape (almost) every time.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
I still stay away from those low builds even in TC mode. Not sure why but it still bothers me for some reason even though I know its perfectly fine. SS allows some higher ohm builds for SS so that is what I use in those cases.

But lately I have been using allot of kanthal and nichrome clapton's in the .70 to 1.20 ohm range. I am more confortable vaping in that range and it is pretty easy to make the wire for it.
I finished the purple yesterday. How cute is this one. The button is still drying :p

Thats purdy!

Thats what the 36AWG N80 told me. I have become quite the "wire whisperer" these days.

As for the Legal Vape 4000 - I'm going for Legal Vape FC (Flux Capacitor) - Vaping at 1.21 GigaWatts!

And to add to the list of RTA / RDTA's - I added to my collection - The Limitless RDTA Plus. Flavor beats that of my Avacado - the largest issues with it are the screws. The side screws mainly. What is up with companies making screws with bits / slots so tiny that they are impossible to torque down into the wire tightly?

Just curious what gage wire you are using. I've had no issues at all with mine so far, but I've only built it with either 26awg. Is it thinner wire that you are having issues with?

It's Maven Red Line by Vapour Artisans. Not sure if it's Canadian or 'Marican.

It's tastin' kinder muted at the mo, but I've only been up for about a half hour, sippin' mah first cuppa joe. I think mah tongue is still in bed.
