Hi Janie,

I share your love of Nautis and I too have been using the isticks (30W) for quite some time. I also use a Coolfire 4 which I really like.

Have you thought about the Nautilus X? I bought one a few months back because they were supposed to be the next generation of the Nauti Mini. Honestly? - I was very disappointed with it...until I bought the extension for it (about $5) and the 1.8 coils. Now I love it. The extension is a 4ml tank (original was 2ml), easy peasy top fill. Took me a bit to get used to the Nauti X - the airflow was much looser than I was accustomed to but I stuck with it and now use it every day.

Note : without the extension, I found the drip tip got very hot but no problem now. Also, the 1.8 coils are good for 14 - 22W (don't quote me on that). That may seem high for you...I was used to vaping around a whopping 9W :)

Hope you find something that works for you.

Cheers

Thank you!!!!! The 30W is my favorite of the iSticks. I tend to get excited and give my stuff away when I have a friend or family member who still smokes but shows interest in and likes my vape (when we're hanging out), which is why I am down to only one of the 30's. :( I haven't had an iStick die on me yet, but for some reason they are all now, at the same time, misbehaving. The batteries aren't lasting and they frequently misfire. My Nautis are just failing all the way around, again both at the same time. They haven't been replaced in ages though so I'm not complaining.

So glad you mentioned the Nauti X, as I have one in my cart at Sweet Vapes, (along with several other items that I'm interested in but waiting on feedback here before purchasing). I actually like the 1.8 Nauti coils better than the 1.6. They last longer for me than the 1.6's. Probably just a fluke, but it was my experience so I've just stuck with the 1.8's. What is it you like better about the Nauti X over the original Nautis? I get a burnt taste if I try to take my Nauti w/1.8 coils over 10-11 watts. Is that due to the tank? Maybe it's because I still vape 12mg liquid? I went to 6mg for a while, better flavor (I'm a flavor chaser) but started to have some analog urges so went back up to 12 Could also be that I like my eLiquid heavier on PG vs VG....? Have you ever tried the Triton coils? I have not.

Thank you, my sweets. I DO like Wine. ;)

Janie, hi and welcome! Of course we're more than willing to help you out (and enable some buying sprees ;) )!

Your set ups sound a bit like some of mine. I enjoyed the iSticks and still use Naughty tanks. I also didn't get the whole GS Air love. They were ok, but not my preference. And, I typically use 65/35 PG/VG vliquids, so we're very much aligned. I vape a tad higher than you (9-11w), but no bigs.

There is SO much to choose from now. We might need to know some preferences on your part. Box mod? Tube mod? I see that you prefer not to build your own coils, so that's a start.

If you do enjoy the tube mod styles, welp, you know I'm going to recommend a Provari. (great deals on them these days)

And there is one tank I'm REALLY liking and that is the Joyetech Ego One Mega V2, aka Egg Roll. It has drop in coils, but they are very simple to rewick. I mean VERY simple. That might be an option for you.

You're bound to get a lot of suggestions here. Keep us posted on what you decide and good luck!

Will the Joyetech Ego One Mega V2 fit the Joye eVic VTwo Mini that pufZeppelin linked to above? Or a Provari? (I am thrilled to see lower priced Provari options, but are they any good, or were you recommending one of the $200 up versions earlier)?

Hi Katdarling! I was so hoping you would weigh in here. I've followed your posts for a very long time as we do seem to have similar tastes. (If I'm not mistaken, we joined ECF on the exact same day? Look how far YOU have come compared to me. Oy vey). I'll check out the Provari but doubt it's in my price range. (I maintain and supply 2 other vapors besides myself. Dad and a niece. It's the only way they'll stick with it). Going to look at Provaris now..... xoxox

Janie, aren't you just a sweetie! Thank you so much. I really haven't traveled the vape road to its fullest (no TC fer me, and really have no need for super high wattage devices), but I'm truly still having a GREAT time on this journey.

I thought of another device you might want to check out (knowing your affinity to iSticks, which I share [size wise, anyway]), and that's the Heatvape Defender 50w. Right now, they're a bit too high priced, so you may find something else you like more, but they are definitely worth considering.

It would be wise/prudent/fun to have both internal and swappable batt mods in your arsenal, and of course, a good charger.

Another FABULOUS tank is the Cerotank v2. It is K--- A--! It also takes Aspire coils, but the smaller ones simply called Aspire BVC (NOT Nautilus). It's really easy to fill, great air adjustment, never wants to leak, and those coils are marvelous for longevity.

Absolutely. They are 510 threaded, so no worries. I use my Egg Rolls on everything!

No, I'm definitely recommending the Specials on the Provape site. I happen to adore the 2.5s which are such a good value!!

THANKS KAT! Are these the coils it takes? Aspire BVC Coils for CE5/ET/CE5-S/ET-S/K1 Clearomizer (5 pcs) I don't see the Cerotank listed as compatible but maybe I just don't know the abbreviation? If so, I have a couple of boxes of these! I have a few ET-S clearomizers in my vape bin and am actually using one right now on 1 of my iSticks since my Nautis are acting up. (I like this cheapo better than the GS Airs I have, though I'm using them also until I decide what to order).

I also placed a Provari 2.5 in my cart, (do you use the mini or the regular?) but it won't be here fast enough for me. I'm going out of town Friday and want to get something else before I leave.

Always brigning the bling ;)
She does for sure! That's so pretty!

Rhelton, thanks for the link you sent me! I added it to my Fast Tech cart and will definitely look at it later. At the moment, work is calling and will have my azz if I don't get back to it. I still have questions regarding external batteries and chargers too, but doubt I'll get back to those until I get back in town.

I'm just ordering another iStick 30W and a couple of tanks (hoping to receive by Friday) to get me by until I get back in town. The only place I found the iStick 30 on stock was Anyvape. I've never ordered from them. Does anyone know if they ship quickly? Their prices are freaking amazing!

Gosh, I just can't thank all of you enough for helping me soooo much today!!!! xoxox

Yes, dear one, those are the correct coils for the Cerotank! (It also takes Kanger coils, but I hesitate to tell you which ones at the moment as I'm not a Kanger expert.)

Which Provi is in your cart? How EXCITING!!!!!!! I actually use both the Minis and the Standards. If you do go with a Mini, get the extension cap so you have the option to use a larger battery. Even if you go with a Standard, I'd still recommend the extension. Options. We love options!

ETA: Kanger BDC dual coils.

Morning TP's

hi Janie I see you have met some of the family.

I can't add to much to the already wonderful suggestions above. But if you are going on a shopping spree I would wait off a week and look at the Halloween sales. Most of the TP gear is always on special so it might save you some $

Good! like those coils! I don't do anything Kanger. I know there are a lot of lovers so it had to have been user error, but I had nothing but trouble (leaks leaks leaks) with them.

I have these in my cart right now:

ProVari™ Variable Voltage V2.5 with Digital Display - Satin Silver
ProVari Mini Satin Silver v2.5 Sale. Get yours now!

BUT haven't ordered because I don't know anything about external batteries and/or chargers, and ran out of time to research. Am so excited to learn and order what I need when I get back in town. (Will have zero spare time before then). Thanks for letting me know about the extension too!

I discovered when checking out that Anyvape is in China, so still hoping to find a 30W iStick tonight to have for my trip, but if not I can get by with the ones I have for another couple of weeks.

Quickly ordering another Nauti and the Joyetech eGo ONE Mega V2 Atomizer for now, unless the K***A** Anyvape clearomizer you mentioned earlier is available somewhere in the States so I could also receive it by Friday?

Glad you asked your question @Janie47 - and thanks to @Katdarling's reply, I now have an eGo One Mega V2 on order :thumb:

Twin, congrats. I hope you love it as I do. Please let us know whatcha think of it!

Great Provi choices! :thumb: The Satin Silvers are about as durable as it gets, and they go with everything. :D

We'll be here when you have the time, and we'll talk your ears off with discussions of batts and chargers.

Sadly, I don't think the Cerotank is available stateside right now. Bummer.

Don't forget the coils for the new Egg Roll! I like the CLR as they are rewickable/recoilable.

We'll get to THAT down the line, too. ;)
