I have eight 18650 flat tops...two 18650 button tops....four 18350s.

I just keep them all in rotation and put them on the charger when they come out of the mod.
I believe the discussion is about storing batteries not in rotation. For instance I still have two mods with internal batteries that I only use very rarely. I also dont use my 18650s regularly.

This is what Battery University says:

"Lithium-ion must be stored in a charged state, ideally at 40 percent. This prevents the battery from dropping below 2.50V/cell, triggering sleep mode?

Discard Li-ion if kept below 2.00/V/cell for more than a week. Also discard if the voltage does not recover normally after storage."

This SUCKS that you guyz 'n' galz on the West Coast are just winding up, and I need to start thinking about going to bed.

However, tomorrow's FRIDAY, and I don't have to get up (too) early on Saturday........

Have a great evening!

I find that it is better for me to always rotate external batts. I take the depleted ones and give them a good nap before putting them on the charger. Once they are charged up, they go to the back of the line.

My non-swappables are randomly charged (NOT the correct way to treat them, but comme si comme sa). I would love to be so analytical as to charge them up to 40% and leave them, but I know me. Ain't gonna happen.

Dang wordy bunch...

@ChelsB , regarding your shaky question. If nic base, shake well before using. PG and VG stock, no need or benefit. (Although warming the VG stock will help it to flow better. :) )

Fresh mixed flavors, daily as part of the steeping.

And I always shake up the bottle of whatever flavor is going into the tank.

As mentioned, the goal is to redistribute the nic and flavors.

Never thought about giving mine a nap before recharging them. I have 9 18350s in rotation though so they take their nap fully charged waiting their turn to be used. I suppose that's not the correct way to do it but c'est la vie!
