Is this coil too high in ohms to use ? On my m80?

It depends...were you trying to make a 2.2 ohm coil?

I ask because if your coil isn't close to what you were trying to make, then there's most likely an issue somewhere. that doesn't look like it was supposed to be a 2 ohm coil...I see maybe 8 wraps of 26 gauage around a 3mm bit?

Thats not a cubis. Its the ego one V2 mega that takes CLR coils (kats eggroll) great tank and the easiest rebuildable coil out there.

Hubby uses the istick 60w and they are a very solid unit. Has not missed a beat and I can decorate the panels

Yes the istick60tc is a solid mod. Still have one of those in my stash.

Thanks for the compliment. The tank is a GS Air-M and the tip is a .99¢ tip from FT. I like everything vaping small.

Same here. I like my mod snd Atty to be Compact so it is pocket friendly.

Bea: i refuse to charge batteries in my mod. Sometines Li-On batteries get hot or vent when charging.

For me i would rather tge battery go nuts in a $12 charger than ruin my mod. But thats just me.

OK so I took my boat out this morning for a nice leisurely ride.
So I figured the way that this thread is going I would have 5 or so pages to catch up on but I never

Usually on rda builds it is better to straiten the coil. The way to do it is to leave the mandrel (for lack of a better term) inside the coil as you set it in the pos/neg posts. Once you tighten the retaining screws it is easy to re-orient the coil position so that it is horizontal to the build deck. This will allow you to have more equal wick legs and more balanced wicking to the coil.

If I remember correctly, the SwirlFish RDA was about the only one where you wanted the coils at an angle.

It's those little details that make all the difference, the reason why dual coil builds are a little trickier than single coils. In dual coils you must pay attention and have the coils at the same distance from the posts. havind them sit horizontal to the deck allows you to better estimate distances.

Oh I'm so glad I can do single, yay!

Nailz was exactly correct. Put the Shaft in the coil you wrapped it around and straighten the coil after trapping the leads.

I guess that works too. But i would rather clean my atties in Vodka than isopropyl. So i use vodka

In truth, my routine is to wash in soapy water and rinse in DI water, let air dry. Alcohol rinse is used only when I'm in a hurry and want to take that particular tank/rda with me.

Hmm. I think vinegar is under-rated. 10% w/water even gets the smell out of plastic. rinses easy with hot water.

Are you talking about a 10% solution of glacial Acetic Acid in water or diluting the commercially available vinegar (a 5% solution) in water?

Just the commercially available white vinegar. I add 10% to 90% water. I just use bottled water. Nothing fancy. Vinegar is a really good cleaner. If I think something needs a scrub, I add a toothbrush into the process.
