I want to thank you all for all your help. You certainly contributed to a special day for me today: 6 months smoke free!
A big congrats on 6 months!!

I know my bud Debs has one and I used it once (when she forced me---lol). It's pretty cool. And after you use it, you can do a little celebration jig. heheheLooks like a coiling jig is in my future
I'm not too fond of Toronto airport. I flew into Toronto about 15 years ago when visited friends near Barrie.
I landed at Toronto. A huge thunderstorm was passing over airport. I was stuck in a puddle jumper jet for over 3 hours. Then I had to climb three fights of stairs carrying my Luggage (it had wheels on the Luggage for a reason!) so i could go through Customs.
Second worst airport i have ever been in.
Which ones have the 1.8mm air passage?

I'd guess you know of these (makes wrapping coils VERY EASY)
but thought I should mention it...

The rebuildable ones dont but you can switch the pins from a normal CL coil that will restrict the airflow even more.
I may bee screwed up but I am sure I read these don't work well on thinner gauge wire. I have some but the seem to make a knot not a coil. It may be user error anyway.
Wrapping wire around something sort of round isn't my problem. Mounting and threading a needle are. Why don't the have coils that are large enough to see the hole without a 10x magnifier.
not sure what you're sayin'![]()

the CLR (rebuildable) comes in horizontal - .5Ω & 1.0Ω
.5 has the 3.8mm air hole pin
1.0Ω has the 1.8mm air hole pin

Have you watched a video on rebuilding the CLR to see if you can do it? The good news is, even if you can't rebuild it, the 1.0 CLR lasts a very long time, and it is very easy to re-wick. In fact, after several months using them, I haven't had to rebuild any, though I did go ahead and rebuild a couple to 1.5Ω for use on a Provari 2.5.
Hope you enjoy them. Here's a vid by Mr. @Shawn Hoefer his own self:
Kat has, like, 732 or somethin nother of the eGo tanks.Hmmmm. Maybe I should look into this tank then........I've made the switch from Vamo's to Coolfire IV 40W.
That works. Usually I use a 2.5mm mandrel, 28ga kanthal with about seven wraps. I'm not picky about getting them to an exact number. Ball park works for me.How did you build it Mike? On the GS Air I use those lavender blunt needles, 26g, 5 wraps, came out to 1.53 ohms.
Bea, I think I have some GS-M's that I don't use anymore. I've graduated to all RTA's now with the exception of the eGo-V2's and the Melo3's that came with my Picos. If I can find them do you want them? I don't have coils because I would rebuild the ones I had.Let me know..How did you build it Mike? Oh my gosh that looks like an old mechanical keyboard. If it's not, perhaps I should get a magnifying glass as well.I use these with limited success.
Ordered this from fastech yesterday.
