My problem with rta (in addition to collecting/storing itty bitty bits) is PLASTIC. I vape tank killers. Even resin drip tips are eaten in a week and metal is a no-go.

Delrin/POM drip tips... nothing in juice will kill them. Pretty sure paint thinner won't even hurt them.

Who makes the pipe style batteries. @qorax has one , I'm interested if they don't cost a fortune and work pretty well. They're the kind where your atomizer completes the look. Q,buddy, any thoughts on various brands ?
I just have two my friend. The Joyetech Elitar and the Smok Guardian III. Both are fantastic, with the Elitar being a li'l more closer to my heart.

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers..... that's a new thread.

Funny, that link I just posted to the ecig 411 site talks a lot about that and using TC.

I'm waiting to see what Dr. F has to say about the study conclusions. For one thing, who takes 5 second puffs at 10 watts? My puffs, MTL, are 1-1.2 seconds. My coils returns to resting temp in seconds, confirmed by putting the atomiizer on a stand alone ohm reader. I have no doubt there are unsafe practices yet to be confirmed but this study alone is not enough for me.

Here is my yesterday's vape based on Arctic Fox data, a custom made liquid measuring stick, and a Drok USB meter.
645 seconds total puff time
524 puffs
4 ml liquid consumed
2431 mAh needed to recharge the battery

My temp controled puffs varied from 30 max watts and 300 degrees when the rda coil was saturated to 400 max degrees at 5 watts when the coil was dryer.

Good morning! I'm back!

I want to share the reason I was gone for a while because so many of you sent kind thoughts and best wishes my way, both by post and privately. They helped make this terrible time a little more bearable.

My only child died unexpectedly when he was 27 years old, many years ago in early March. The days leading up to that date are really tough to bear so hubby and I close ranks until the anniversary has passed.

And as this is a vaping thread…I started smoking again after my son's death and didnt quit until two years ago last October when I discovered vaping. I'm happy to say vaping got me though all three anniversaries. I didn't even think about cigs.
