I don't think it's actually fashionable, these days, to be going INTO the closet(s), but you've never been much of conformist, so...

You bring the blister packs and I'll bring some wire (just in case).

And you bring the Ti's. Deal. ;)

Nite nite, DPL. :D

Ya'll are nucking futs tonight!

I've been researching on this Kbox thing, for those that were interested. I'm even more confused! Not sure if it's a topbox or a Kbox now? Then I came across Phil's review, it's long, I'll warn you, but after watching, I think I'm going to pass.

TopTank is the new Top fill Subtank. Its just the name for the complete mod & tank kit. The actual mod is still the Kbox Mini! :D

That's what I get for building a new character for Diablo III since Season 6 has started... pages and pages of catchup! :D

When 3F gets them on the 24hr ship list there should be a SQuape xDream and an 80W Boxer Mini coming this way...

Beat ya to it :)

It's working pretty well - no "nastiness" as of yet, and I haven't had to prime between hits :thumb: (and I even wrapped right-handed ;) )

Thanks all, for your help!

Increasing the odds that I'm going to get the V3 Mini(s)
Excellent and you are most Welcome! :toast:

With all this talk of building the Mini 2.1, I dug mine out tonight an put a build on it for S&G's. I used 7 wraps of 28g SS430 on 2.5mm for 0.75Ω and put it on the Cuboid using 400F/35W with a TCR of 120. I forgot how great the vape from it can be, mine has only SS tanks as two PMMA tanks had broken threads at the top after a time and a few drops... I also have the air screw removed for Maximum Airflow!

Looks funny on the Cuboid so I moved it over to the Mini Volt at 15W and it vapes great there too!
I'll vape the tank dry and probably put it back away, the GEM is my go to Tootle Puffer and it just works so much better.

Thanks Ding for the great trip down memory lane!

Boy you folks Have been chatty the last few days. I have seen 2 vapors in the wild in the last day. Thats more than I've seen in the last year.

I'm STILL a MTL-er. That's why I still like my PT2'S (my nauti mini is almost too airy for me...on the smallest airflow!) I s'pose I'll be more adventurous at some point.

Then again...

:)

You're right Krisma, I'm kinda comfy in my little MTL bubble. If it ain't broke, don't fix it :) As long as I'm off the stinkies, I'm a happy camper!
I've given myself several pats on the back for avoiding shinyitis. Although, sometimes I stare with bug-eyed wonder when I come across the odd lil somethin that makes my heart skip a beat. And then the tog o' war begins...
"Ohhh, I like that. No! - I don't need it. But I could treat myself to something new..."

The voices! The darned voices!

Hiya sawlight. Glad to see you back around these parts. I can only imagine coming back to vape after a few years (months, even). There is soooooooo much out now, and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in not knowing half of what's out there!

I tend to stick with what works, and what's good, consistent, and tasty for me. As Krisma so astutely pointed out, there are all kinds of playgrounds out there for all of us, but the comforts of 'home' are not to be denied.

Seems there's been a bit of chatter and a few rants lately over vape styles. So much so, that I've thought perhaps this thread has run its course. As most of you know (or hope you do) it was never started as an "us against them", or an idea to set up camps. Some of you know that I started this thread simply to find out if anyone still vaped the way I did! I found out many do.

JK, your post caused me to pause. You said you "STILL" vape MTL. I wonder... do you intend to change that vape? Do you (as a relative newer vaper) have thoughts that you should or will "progress" to more "advanced" vaping? I'm kurious what you all think.

Hor d'oveuvres fer thought-vres.

Thank you (blush). I rather like it, too. The GMZ, beautiful, the tank, delights, but the tip top of the exquisite drip tip? The Kat's ME-OW!

I am still using the same setup that got me off smokes. I don't see any reason to change.

Hello All....
It's been a while since I've posted here, health issues did arise.I did have an inner ear infection. It turned out to be a bit more than that though.I fainted a few more times and decided to go to the ER,well long story short I had a total heart block, got rushed to the bigger city hospital by ambulance and within a day ended up getting a pacemaker.Scared the Begeezies out of me.Slowly getting back into the swing of things, although I'm not allowed to basically do anything for 4 to 6 weeks.

I did keep up with this thread though, but never did signin so apologies for not liking a bunch of the posts, cuz there's lots to be liked here.

Thanks for this thread Kat and all who post in it,Great bunch of Ladies & Gents!

I'm still vaping but at a reduced rate,The doctor asked if I smoked,I told him no I use an electric cigarette....and have gone from 24mg nic to 4mg,he never told me to stop.

Glad that turned out all right for you.

I've moved up a notch from what I started with and that's what I use virtually all the time (eleaf istick) and I have several in reserve. The only reason I have a stash of replaceable battery mods/rebuidable tanks is because of the impending legislation in the EU (which is now only 19 days away )

'Tis the beauty of this thing called "vaping" So many different styles and configurations, but we're not smoking!!!!

I'm into my 2nd tankful on the KF Mini 2.1. Makes me want to work up the other one :w00t: I have a spool of SS wire as well. Perhaps I'll give that a twirl :)

@Maytwin - I too, have been accumulating replaceable battery mods. I'm down to one eGo, an MVP2.0, and two iSticks in the non-replaceable battery arena ;)

The mini I wanted at FT has a ship in 7 days notice. Sigh. I hesitate to order anything from them that is not in stock.

The SXK is a 7-day ship, but I ordered anyway - LABORDAY worked on both items I'd ordered for 15% discount.....

@TrollDragon, I'm using 65p/35v in the KF Mini 2.1. My normal juice is more like 70-80 VG - do I need to reformulate some of my flavors for higher PG to use in the KFs (including the newer ones I'm ordering?)
The older Kayfuns don't really like a high VG juice, the chimney in the 2.1 is so close to the tank wall that it needs the thinnest of them all. The new Mini V3 should have no problem with a high VG mixture IMHO.

I run a 50/50 in all my Kayfuns so I don't encounter any problems... ;)

To clarify an earlier statement ("50% fail"), I'm not certain that is the case now. As I compare the one that worked, with the ones I can't get to, they appear to be relatively identical. The issue may well be with the user, in that I simply have difficulty trapping the screw on the side that has very little deck on its far side.

I can make them work, but it takes a LOT of effort (like a bazillion or so attempts at trapping). I, too, have big, clunky hands, and really karpy eyes.

I like the tank a lot, but it IS smaller than I usually prefer, and if I can't find a way to make it work easily, I'll probably forego it for the larger ones, with which I've no problem at all. And I didn't like the "4" at all (strictly personal preferences, one and all).

DISCLAIMER: All this is, of course, theoretical, since Kat & I are using the "KF Drop-In Coils" (or however she phrased it), as she had previously indicated.

Point being, if you're good with this stuff, IGNORE MY EARLIER STATEMENT. Buy with confidence (while I blister-pack my way to ultimate happiness).

:rickroll:

I'm using a juice that's really high VG, but it's not listed ANYWHERE (what the exact mix is). It's running fine, but I do need to recoil (Ha!) often. The juice is Namber Nostalgia, if anyone knows what that mix is. It's fargin' THICK (is all I know).
