Thanks for the link in your signature to the thread on rayon,I may have to give it a try.I've been using Shiseido cotton pads for the past while now BUT the thread on the rayon makes me think Hmmmmm.
Can Rayon be had at Shoppers Drugmart or Walmart? If so what brands should I be looking at?

That's great,I've always learned much quicker when I'm actually watching it being done, very nice of the staffer to show you.

Have fun in the US of A
Agreed SNM, I learn better visually rather than reading. I thought it was a nice offer from the staffer as well. And thank-you, I'm sure we'll have a great time in the U.S. :)

You are most Welcome!

Not in the form we regularly use. Sally's Beauty Supply carries the BIG boxes of Graham CelluCotton 100% Rayon. They make a Cotton version that comes in the same box, just a different number and it says Cotton.

These are what you are looking for, make sure it says 100% Rayon Fibers and the circle needs to say Regular and NOT Reinforced.
44040 Regular Coil 1200 Ft.
44043 Regular Coil 3 Lbs.
44060 Regular Coil 500 Ft.
44130 Regular Coil 40 Ft.

All I have seen in Sally's here in NS is the 44060 & 44043 boxes.
So I picked up the 3 pounder (900')

Without buying a big ole box of Rayon, you can pick up a box of THESE from WallyWorld or Shoppers, but only the Sleek versions are 100% Rayon. There is a little disassembly required and it is a step above CelluCotton quality.

Good Luck and come join us in the Rayon Thread!

Yes I can see that with the Fatboy.

I might just be interested in an Arduino box, do you have any details or a sketch you might want to share?

My programming skills aren't the greatest, sometimes a little illogical, lots of code commented out, overall a mess. It also has a fair bit to go before being ready for prime time. If your really interested in arduino projects Breaktru's forum is a good resource. I think I have some links somewhere for a couple open source projects on Github though which were coming along nicely last I looked.

Also to my fellow Amateurs out here did your thread ever take off? Sort of an old skool 20WPM Extra, licensed 20ish years now, eek...

I ran across this and the shinytitis has kicked in! I changed it to Euro and the price says its only 40 which is $45.25 US. I think this must be a mistake can someone else look at it. They come with a lifetime warranty and look to be very well machined???

    The Peacemaker 18650 - STEAMBOY

Just know that mod has a hybird connector on it, not a regular 510, read up on some of the issues with the "Noisy cricket" mod. The pin on your atty is going to have to stick down below the top cap to prevent shorting out the battery.

Anyone got the little cute Istick Pico ? Mine should be here tomorrow, it looks like a really nice little mod..
Had mine over a week now and still love it!

    Thanks to both of you...

It turns out we have a Sally's Beauty Supply store maybe 2kms away from my house,WooHoo...
They've got the 44060 (500 feet) in stock for $13.99.

I go for my first (ever) visit to a cardiologist this Thursday.Hopefully he'll give me the Okay to get back on my bike again and plus an okay to do all the other regular stuff I used to do.
If I'm good to go I'll zip over and pick up a box.

Today I transplanted 30 some tomato plants into 4 inch pots.My nephew is supposed to come over this Sunday to rototill the garden.....Gosh I'll be happy to get this "not doing stuff" behind me...I wanna get back to my regular grind!

Well, I've got a mini Goblin on the way it seems! Couldn't pass up the price on the silly thing. Seller says you can crank it down and I'm hoping it comes with the chamber reducer, but for $15, I'll try it!

I don't know about a chamber reducer, but it comes with a plug so you can do single coil, and it works very well.

That's what I'm calling the chamber reducer. It's a plug for the wick holes and reduces the chamber size.
Glad to hear it's a decent one!

I just got my Wotofo Serpent Mini from FT and am ordering more...this is the smallest and best looking and easiest to build tank atty I've ever tried. And it gives a powerful dream vape. I am a happy camper!
I saw that one as well, but couldn't see any way to make it a single coil without issues? Are you running dual or singles? I'm learning all this new fangled stuff, so please bear with me!

You thinking about programming your own Arduino for a PWM mod? That is more work than I want to think about for even someone skilled at programing.

Have you thought about designing your own PWM board? I have been kicking this around and doing some research on it all. I know you can buy one for 10 bucks but still would be fun. And not too much money to get a board printed and parts to populate one is just pennies.

I've tinkered with the Arduino and Ti's Launch Pad for a bit, I also have a few STM32's, a Renesas RX62N and a Stellaris LM3S9B92 evalbot. The STM & Renesas boards were too far above my skill set and I got tired of the crippled IDE's.

Got any links on the PWM stuff, I have not picked up any samples from Ti in a long time... ;)

Well, I've got a mini Goblin on the way it seems!

I just bought a Cthulhu from our classifieds and I have similar questions. Anyone here use one?

Will I be able to make a fair tootler of it?

Just scored 1.75 liters of Kraken rum. I can't wait to spend a wild night with Kraken and Cthulhu!!
