Nice thanks for the pics.It has six of those slots all the way around the base, once it is tightened into the mech you can turn the barrel anywhere from wide open to shut down completely. Includes a large grub you can screw into the deck to close off one side for single coil. Also included in the package is a 510 adapter base, the chuff top cap, and a 510 top cap.
This and the Aeronaut are my current favorites

I'm going through my vape gear and I found things I didn't know I had.
I have a Svoe Mesto kayfun 4 that I have no recollection of buying. I can read up on it some day, I guess.
But I have two (identical) of these mystery toppers. If anyone recognizes them, please tell me what they are:

I gots one of those!
I remember when that was state of the art technology. Not that drippers have changed a huge amount from that one. Many of the high end atty's today have a two post deck with non adjustable airflow just like that one does.
No but I used UD 28g SS which is softer than kanthal. It went pretty easy to be honest I was surprised. Ive been thru two tanks and here is what it looks like, not too bad I dont think. I may try it on another mod with SS TC feature and see how that works too, should be good then too maybe better will see.

I think that ni200 would wrap really well on these too, going to try that on a different atty.
Someone mentioned hot wrapping with a torch, what exactly is that suppose to do? It is vaping good on my SXMini in TC also not sure which way I like better.
Heating the BD13 wick and the wire while wrapping allows for a tighter wrap on the wick.
I tried NI200 once and it glowed on me with a dry wick so I didn't use it.
I did a kanthal one in a dripper and had some trouble. The 316L seemed to stay put in the middle and I just needed to cinch it up at the posts. If you notice on the positive I went around one more half wrap and just wrapped it around the center post in the direction of the threads instead of threading it thru center hole. I just checked it up close and all the wraps are touching still so it should be ok.
ni200 will glow in TC if you have it turned up high enough. Does not mean that it will under ideal circumstances. Ive cleaned ni200 as I would kanthal and re-wicked and used. Some say not too, but it almost immediately reproduces any protective oxide surface it lost while heating it to the point it glows and no more harmful than it was before. The fumes could be harmful in large quantities during the process but we are talking about a tiny amount of the metal to begin with.
And we have used the stuff for years with the NR/R/NR wires that were found in most atomizers. I do not worry about it.

My second Orchid to Kayfun conversion kit is due tomorrow. USPS's prediction for shipped date to delivered date is eleven days, same as my calculation. I put the order on hold when I noted a defect in one of the first five bases, and they promised QC would cull any further of that defect. There was also a defect in one of the poles, so I switched things around, will be good for parts. Hopefully the second shipment will be defect-free.
I know - it's only 15 days so far but I am not the world's most patient person
For fasttech you need patience. I have 7 packages enroute from the sale at the beginning of the month.
